Mets Monitoring Giancarlo Stanton, Carlos Gonzalez

The New York Mets would love to acquire a premier outfielder and are keeping tabs on Miami's Giancarlo Stanton and Colorado's Carlos Gonzalez.

The front office is having internal dialogue as to whether they should part with top prospects such as Zack Wheeler and Travis d'Arnaud to get a player of that caliber.

Of course you package both of those players for Stanton or Gonzalez. However, I think Stanton is alot more likely to be made available than Gonzalez.
