Zeller's ceiling is as one of the better starting true bigs in the league.
Won't be better than:
D-12
Blake
LMA
M. Gasol
Z-Bo
Tim Duncan (Hey until he retires)
Vucevic
Drummond
Monroe
Ibaka
Davis
Noel
Bosh
LBJ
Hibbert
Dirk (for at least 2 more years I suppose)
Faried
Horford
J. Smith (although he's inefficient as ****, I'd rather have Smith then Zeller)
L. Sanders
Henson
Ed Davis
Noah
T. Thompson
Bogut (assuming some level of health)
D. Lee (They're basically the same, except Lee has a large array of offensive moves)
Love
Pekovic
Millsap
Kanter
Favors
Cousins
Illyosova
Chandler
Melo (If you consider him a 4)
B. Lopez
Jonas Val
Now please tell me, how he is
definitively better than at least 2/3rds of those bigs, or has more potential. He's got decent offensive potential, but not enough to surpass what any of the aforementioned bigs have lived up to or have shown in their young careers.
