Yes. They thought they'd get more money after these signings.

I love the fact players turned down offers to wait and see if they can get more money, it adds another element, makes it more realistic and interesting. Can't believe a gm has not given pek the max yet, man the recession has hit hard..

Gerald Henderson has agreed to a 4 year / 32 million dollar offer sheet with the Denver Nuggets

Year 1 - $8 million
Year 2 - $8 million
Year 3 - $8 million
Year 4 - $8 million (player option)

This is the highest money offer and a starting spot.

The New Orleans Pelicans have 48 hours to match this contract offer.

The Pelicans waste no time in matching this offer sheet.

Dang it. Figured there was no way that Klomp wouldn't match it. Tier 4 is now officially open.

Year 4 - $15,719,062

You have about 38 more hours to match I believe.

thanks man, seems like NY posted at 12:30am EST on Thur yo I have till 12:30am EST Saturday to decide (if you want him, send me a S&T, I may listen).

I am pretty sure it is an illegal offer since I don't think PO's are allowed in year 3 of a deal, but o well, I have a little over 29 hours to decide what to do.

SamBone has asked me to post that he's matching this deal. Jennings remains in Portland.

PF Mo Williams

Didn't receive an offer, so he drops to Tier 4.

He did receive an offer?

And it's also in the rules that players in Tier 1-4 will not accept offers less than 2.5 million per year.

This is what I have in terms of cap space left.

Nuggets 15.857
Bobcats 3.395
Rockets 7.016
Mavericks 18.148
Hawks 5.024
Lakers 21.073
Celtics 2.1

I excluded the Blazers for not having roster/salary updated, and for the Knicks not having salary updated. Until they update it, they won't be allowed to participate in signing free agents.
