you said he's slightly injury prone which isn't even close to being true. What you expect ?

I also gave him props. I'd understand if I blatantly tried to troll. I attempted to have a discussion and several people acted butt hurt. Who cares if he is slightly injury prone? Still has a bright future. Shows severe insecurity to get upset over something so minuscule.

i know that a lot of people are going to point at kemba's 18 straight points in the 2nd and 24 points in the half and say "OMG kemba is amazing", but honestly, outside of that 5 minute purple patch in the 2nd quarter, i thought he was pretty much crap tonight. he has no shot clock awareness. he is a ball stopper, he has no clue how to handle a double team off the pick and roll, he has some really lazy habit defensively, and his shot selection after his purple patch was frustrating at best.

he gets a pass for now because he is our best player, but im not sure how much longer i can stand the kemba walker iso show before i start to really start complaining loudly. i generally despise players like kemba - ball stopping, low efficiency, iso whores. i hate watching that style of basketball and i equally hate playing in the gym with guys who play like that. its annoying and a brainless form of basketball unless you are so much better than everyone that you can justify that style (such as kobe or iverson).

for now we can keep making excuses because it makes us feel better. kemba has no help. dunlap's offense sucks. defenses dont have to guard our bigs. all these things are largely true. i will be happy when some of these excuses are no longer an option. either kemba will turn the corner and show us he can be an amazing point guard and leader of a good playoff team because now has better teammates and coaching or he will prove that you cant win if you let a undersize, inefficient, shoot first point guard dominate your offense.

for the record, i am equally annoyed at hendo who is also a ball stopper and an iso whore. i am slightly annoyed at biz and MKG who prove useless on offense outside of 2 feet.

i hate to sound like leo, but i am seriously skeptical that we will ever be a good playoff team with kemba playing the style he is playing this season. he just isnt good enough at doing what he does to win consistently at this level. he has yet to show that he can play any other way at this level. what remains to be seen is if he can adapt to playing a different style once he has better talent. im not sure he can because his overall court awareness is rather poor for a starting point guard.

Yeah, not one of Kemba's best games. He is really struggling with double teams for some reason. The whole team has terrible shot clock awareness, I swear everyone tries to saddle McBob with buzzer beaters. But hey, this is a young team and you expect growing pains like this.

Since were already tanking for Wiggins we may as well start tanking for Tyus Jones in 2015.

I have a strange feeling we will be saying this exact thing 2 years from now.

We'll be saying stuff like this at least until our starters aren't 1st-2nd year players. Possibly add a starter in this draft and one in the next.

fats, i seriously doubt kemba will have this much free reign over the offense of the next charlotte NBA playoff team. i would hope that everyone in the building understands that this team is in desperate need of an above average passer/distributor at any position, and won't find consistent success without a more diverse offense. that is not exactly an obscure shortcoming of this team.

as for the youngsters, MKG has shown at least that he is an able, willing passer, so i think that is a start. draft picks and significant acquisitions in the next year or two will need to take this deficit nto account. if this impotent top-of-the-key drag screen kemba bowling ball offense is still around by all-star break next season then either a tankjob is in full effect or heads need to roll. it's fine to use it to jumpstart a vortex of nothingness like this season, but to develop players offensively you need to distribute the ball a LOT more than the 12/13 bobcats have.

understood, but it seems as if your confused as to why you got the reaction you did, you can't post sh* like that on other teams boards and then wonder why ppl are upset. same thing as one of us coming here and saying kemba still looks like a chucker after this one bad game he had.

I guess I just don't see how 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists constitute a bad game. The TOs were too plentiful, but everyone turned it over. Kemba can't distribute the ball to 2-3 of the guys on offense, because at any given point 2-3 guys on offense (MKG, Biyombo, etc) can't score. That limits your options. Too much Kemba hate, too much MKG and Biyombo love here. Lots of double standards. I guess that's what you get when you're 18-61.

Agree with this so much. If we had better, more reliable scorers other than Henderson, then Kemba would probably be able to create easier, his assist numbers would rise and the offense would start flowing more freely
