In all honesty, the team can't worry about what is going on around them. Help would be wonderful, but they cannot and should not be excused from controlling their own destiny. We win out and we will have done our part.

I play daily fantasy basketball on draftday.com. Lopez was an easy pick for me since he seems to always have a great game against us.

In 16 games against us, his per-36 numbers are pretty much 16 & 8.3. I guess the numbers don't jump out as much as I thought they would, but are still better than his career per36 numbers. He's shot pretty poor at the foul line against us (59%) while he's been a career 73% at the charity stripe.

I was able to listen to the majority of the game on the radio. I got home in time to catch the 4th quarter on tv. I'm glad we pulled this one out. I hope we bring a better effort for tomorrows game. What's important is that we won.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The bright side is that Memphis is on the 2nd night of B2B as well and are also traveling to Memphis. The Clippers are actually a little bit closer to Memphis. We have 2 days off in between games, the team needs to go all in.

We may end up playing these guys next weekend, and it would be nice entering game 1 with confidence (and HCA of course) :)

BLEDSOE BIGGEST IN SMALL-BALL LINEUP

“I thought Eric Bledsoe gave us a big burst,” Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro said.

Bledsoe has been mired in what he called a two-month “slump,” scoring more than 10 points just once since Feb. 11. But took over the game in a six-minute stint in the fourth quarter when Del Negro played him alongside Chris Paul, Jamal Crawford, Matt Barnes and Blake Griffin.

“We were in a tight game like this and I knew we were lacking energy,” Bledsoe said. “So, I just tried to come in and give everyone energy.”

“I told [Clippers guard] Maalik [Wayns], I’m going to go in and help out,” Bledsoe said. “I’ve been playing a lot of games and not helping my team out and I told him when I was about to get in the game, ‘I’m going to come in and play with that energy that I used to play with.’”

Bledsoe said it gave him a confidence boost to have Del Negro stick with him in a tight game.

“When I was going through that little slump, and still am, my teammates were still there to pick me up,” the 23-year-old Bledsoe added. “And I credit them and the coaching staff and everybody for helping out with that, coming through and getting shots up, and helping a young player like me.

“It means a lot. It makes me feel like I’m just as important to the team as anybody else.”

Super clutch W last night in the Big Easy. Barnes/Bledsoe/Crawford were huge down the stretch. Lets keep this going later on today in Memphis. 8-)

We are going to need Bledsoe at full force against Memphis. Jordan has to get locked back in on post man defense.
