I know the deadline isn't for a while, but we are sure no one will beat this:

Chase Budinger has agreed to return to his current team with a 5 year deal.

The New Orlreans Pelicans and Chase agreed to the following:

Year 1 - $7,000,000
Year 2 - $7,000,000
Year 3 - $7,000,000
Year 4 - $7,000,000
Year 5 - $7,000,000

The 5th year did it for my client.

I was looking at Chase but I'm glad I ended up sending an offer to Korver instead

The Denver Nuggest have signed Nick Young to a deal

Two year, 8 million deal.

Year 1: 4 million
Year 2: 4 million (team option)

He likes the money, and like the playing time he will receive.
Also, this was the only deal he was offered.

There will now be a 24 hour period for teams who still have the MLE, Mini-MLE, Miami Heat exception, and cap space left. The winner is decided by offering up the highest AAV (average annual value), which basically is the total amount of money divided by the number of years. So offering Josh Smith 8 million over two years is a better contract than 9 million over 3 three years. There is no limit to how many of these players you can offer contracts to HOWEVER you need to have the cap space. You can't say I'm offering Player X, Y, and Z the MLE whoever signs it they get it first.

So that means Devin Harris, Chauncey Billups, CJ Watson, Dorrell Wright, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, Metta World Peace, Andray Blatche, and Drew Gooden are now eligible to be signed. REMEMBER, they will not sign for less than 2.5 million/year at this point.

Sunday at NOON EST these players will sign.
