Another Celtics fans here with the same wishes.

Our rivalry aside, it truly broke my heart when I saw that, and the interview just made it 10 times worse. I have a TON of respect for Kobe's game and attitude and I hope he makes it back as good as ever. Dude is a **** warrior.

Keep your heads up, Lakers fans.

Ditto here. There were times when I could hardly stand to look at the guy, my blood boiling cuz there's no stopping him. Gotta admit that through thick and thin he gave his all to the game and to the Lakers organization and is one of the very greatest ever to play. May he recover fully and eventually retire on a happier note.

Yeah, from another C's fan, rivalries aside him going down is a loss to basketball and a damned shame. They're just aren't that many old school, beat you while talking trash to you, clutch competitive players anymore and it'll be sad to lose one of the best if he doesn't come back from this. Here's to hoping he makes it back 100%.

However, you never ever want to see a player, especially a hall of famer like Kobe go down with an injury. The silver lining is that I actually think it helps your chances to resign Dwight Howard next year since he wants to be "The Guy". The general board has had some interesting comments on these issues, but that place has become the Miami Heat "fan" board II. Thats all and hopefully Kobe doesn't end his career like this.

They had more of a chance than we did.

Props to the C's fans for coming and showing respect, if it's one fan base that I EXPECTED to be classy about it was you guys. It's only fitting that from time to time two of the most storied franchises can complement each other.

Kobe is a warrior, he'll bust his but to get back in a Laker uni and I believe he will.

Thanks for the support

Right on, though no need to go ballistic on me for saying that they at least might get to save a lot of money by amnestying him now. It's just a way to save a lot of money next season and wouldn't prevent him from being resigned next offseason. If there's a silver lining, that's it.

Anyhow, hated to see him go down. Dudes a warrior.

Another Celtics fan here. Just bad news all around. Kobe is one of those guys who anyone who loves basketball has to respect his game. He's a true pro, basketball will miss him this playoffs and for however long he'll be out. And, of course, you never want to see someone suffer such a serious injury.

Props to Kobe for shooting those free throws. Easily one of the toughest players I've ever seen in any sport. I hope for a full recovery for him and he'll be able to play until he is ready to go out on his own terms on a positive note.

All I know is that me and you have had some serious battles and ish talking on their board for so many years specially during the finals and yet through all of that we were always welcomed on their board.

Though we hate each other yet when it comes down to it, we are some what identical. Go figure!!

I mean I have always felt that in sportsmanship is fairness, empathy and respect for your opponent at all times and thats how I feel about the C's Org.

Yeah, I think the only organization that has been there enough times is the Celtics, you guys are the only ones that know the kind of expectations to go with an actually good franchise and the pain that comes when they're not fulfilled. I may hate your team but I have tremendous respect for some of the extremely classy individuals you'll have had and still have in your organization. This is probably a lot like how KG's 2009 injury felt, so good luck with Miami guys, hopefully we'll see you in the Finals in 2014.

Another Celtics fan.

I'm hoping for the best for Kobe. Despite the rivalry with the Lakers, I've always liked Kobe, can't say the same about say the same about some of his fans I know in real life lol but never had a problem with Kobe.

He's a warrior though, I don't think it's the last the NBA's seen of Kobe. Knowing how much of a competitor I think Kobe will be back sometime next season.

Kobe. Forever you will be my all time favorite basketball player. When I get old a senile I will go on and on about Kobe this and Kobe that. And how he had ice cold water in his veins. And was the first to clock in and last one out. How he played with a dozen injuries and still made fifty points a game several in a row. How he made 81 points.
How he was the only one to win back to back championships... In different eras.

Kobe recover quickly.
Please be on the sideline in your suit and coach this team man.
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

You're right, I was a bit heavy handed in my response to your amnesty idea. But you have to understand the severity of saying that in a situation where we hadn't even gotten a chance to fully accept that he was done for the year. That's kinda hard to accept in that moment. I'm sure when the emotional tide wears off the Lakers will evaluate everything in the summer. But now is not the time.
