Noone talking about captain jack getting waived? just after he had that pretty hilarious interview too. Such a strange time to waive a vet on a playoff team. Must have pissed off the wrong person.

as a fan of Jackson these news also bummed me out. this spring most likely would have been his last opportunity for a significant playoff moment.

I checked out SpursTalk to find out more details and it seems like this seems to be the case:

RUMOR has it that Jackson had a complete meltdown today with the team. Apparently he is uncertain about his future with San Antonio and is currently not with the team.

And I had always thought that he was in check when playing for Pop. I guess you never could have completely trusted Stephen. It makes me wonder though - could this be the end of his NBA career? He's 35 and shooting 37% from the court this year.

bingo. i am usually loathe to assign such motivations to a player but for all of jack's virtues (and he has plenty), the things that motivate him are not ambiguous. he wanted that last contract.

Sounds like he had a case of 'When keeping it real goes wrong'. I can so see him doing that. It wouldn't sit pretty with the spurs organization.

I hate this. I've come to really respect Kobe. Here's the link to his postgame interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs9esdFRlS0&feature=youtu.be It was tough to watch.

Here's one reason the Spurs are being bounced from the first round this year: Tracy SecondRoundVirgin McGrady signs with the Spurs.

I hate Kobe as much as anybody, but I respect his game a ton. I want to see him finish out his career healthy. Funny, but this kind of injury pretty much rules out a 2014 retirement. He's going to want to prove himself before he retires, so that he can say he retired on his own terms.

Any of you guys sad that tonight's game might be the last NBA action at Sacramento in a while?

I know that Fats would probably like that trip down memory lane in the video. There was a Lionel Simmons sighting, if I remember correctly.

this was one of my favorite teams of all-time. 3 of my all-time fav players as the top 3 scorers on the team: richmond, simmons and walt williams. this team was just so desperate for a good big man, but loaded on the wings.

simmons was so underrated for a few years. he got worse every year he was in the league though. crazy. was 18, 9 and 4 as a rookie, by year 5 he was a total scrub.

What a crock. Our team has sucked since, well, forever yet we still love and support them blindly.

You don't get any more loyal than being a fan of the Bobcats and then coming back again after last season.

Bobcats should top that list.

Teams wins 7 games and our attendance and season ticket sales increase. What the hell else does Forbes want?

Well the Lakers are in, hopefully they lose this game to stay seed 8 and get blasted by the Thunder.

I wouldn't be sad at all if I'm a Cavs fan. Irving is a flat out stud. Keep building around him and you guys will be very nice in 2 years.

Damn straight, people also discredit or don't recognise that the Bobcats have a large almost cult following internationally, as our board is proof.

Have you come across Walt Williams's career mix that contains everything from his point forward skills to his long range shooting?

I can't say that I'm the biggest fan of his, yet I like his game as I have thing for point forwards (hence, the Lamar in LamarMatic). And for some reason, I absolutely love that mix. The author of it, BigPatrys, has some great videos of guys that were more role players than stars.
