Kobe is out 6-9 months....so its gonna be more like 5 and 1/2 months cause its Kobe....

But do you think he will come back the same Kobe? Can he posssibly spend next season playing 38+ minutes a game!!

All I know is, Lakers are super under staffed in the back court, and Houston has uber staff ready to pounce! Spurs is a no brainer, they are one of the toughest teams in the league!

Lakeshow isn't done yet assuming we get a healthy Nash back dropping dimes to Pau & Howard...

WEB IV wrote:http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/free-throws-attempted-per-game This link shows free throws attempted per game for each team. Interestingly, the Lakers are 5 attempts per game above their season average in the last three games, while the Jazz are 10 attempts below their season average in the last three games....Coincidence?

**Utah dead last out of all 30 NBA teams in free throws attempted last three games. Lakers first**

:o I always suspected favoritism for big market teams, but its still shocking to see such a blatant example. Look at this link people!! I wonder if anyone is bringing attention to this nationally.

I am not gonna lie, apart of me want this, but most of me wanted them to go full force in so the most worthy one goes.
Now if we go, all through next year everyone is going to be like "oh Jazz only made it cause Kobe got injured".

If I had to pick, I would rather face Memphis and Minnesota over Spurs and Rockets.

Baloney! If the Jazz make the playoffs it will be the biggest underdog story since David and Goliath. Stern and the officiating crews have been shameless in trying to hand the playoffs to the Lakers. No less than 4 games have been given to them. For the Jazz to overcome that type of obstacle would be huge. As for Kobe's injury, call it divine retribution.

Fans all over see this.

and I am not a Jazz fan.

well, i am a jazz fan, and as much as we can all complain about how the league is handing wins to the lakers, if the jazz miss the playoffs they can only blame themselves. they had a huge lead over the lakers, and lost many games they should have won. they came out and put very little effort and intensity in too many games, including when it was obvious that the lakers are closing in.

they lost in ESA to the Knicks without Melo or Chandler. They got beat by Kurt Thomas for god's sake.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I personally believe Kobe's injury is Karma to the him, the lakers and the NBA who allow such an injustice.

Us Jazz fans are the ones who are being brutilzed by the NBA just because the Lakers make more money.

I can't want something for a team thats fate is to not go to the playoffs. Whats the point? Yeah I love the Jazz, but the playoffs and honor no longer are in the same sentence.

I am happy we are +.500, I don't want any part of David Stern's playoffs, cause even if we strive and overcome, we will end up in NBA finals with Heat, just to be tormented and have Refs take our championship away from us, Just like they did for Bulls...Twice!

This is quite possibly the most incoherent thing I have ever read. Since when is an injury 'karma?' It's a sport, no one gets injuries because of karma, and if they did, Shawn Kemp would be dead... The Lakers are a better team, even with injuries. We had the tie breaker, all we had to do was win some games. We couldn't do it, which hopefully makes it apparent that this team as constructed cannot be successful.

Its not the first time a big name team gave us the **** end of the stick...problem is our young guys aren't going to get the playoff experience they need to become the next all stars...while Laker's old dilapidated team crumbles before the first round with most ready to retire.

It would be nice to get our young guys playoff experience, but I'd rather the front office see that changes need to be made. I don't know, this was just a frustrating year.

""This is quite possibly the most incoherent thing I have ever read""

I can't believe I have to explain myself every time I post something. I don't know why but every time I talk in Jazz forums they are incompetent. You are way to serious, and think you are so smart, which leaves you to never budge on your opinions or think of things on a different level. I thought that last forum of Jazz fans was bad, but I might just go back just for Jazz talk.

If you actually knew what the word Karma meant you wouldn't need to just call me an idiot every time you don't understand something.

When kobe decided to start playing 48 minutes a game, he brought upon himself inevitable results, bringing an injury to himself aka Karma. On a deeper level which you couldn't possibly understand, Kobe and his super star status has brought him many one sided calls, every laker fan will admit it, and everyone knows super stars get that treatment. So yeah I also meant that "ALL" of Kobe's actions resulted in his karma, but if you actually kept up on what Lakers have done in April, you would know the tangible karma.

I might be over-reacting to Lakers surge, but every NBA fan has been talking more about it than me, calling it a rigged system. I didn't even think of that till I started talking around with my other fan buddies.

being sweep easily is really poor play off experience, im only concern that if we wont get to the play offs we could pick Williams in draft and compilation of good pg and monster duo of Enes and Fav could save jobe for this fool in years to come, we would be like next clippers then

Return to Utah Jazz
