Yeah, I wasn't impressed at all by him. He got tagged alot by a guy who wasn't expected to really be in his league. You put him with any of the top fighters around his weight class in boxing and he get KO'ed.

I guess its just preference. Rjj doesnt sound like the brightest person but at least he's engaged and gets excited. Above all, id like to know the guys getting paid to dit ringside actually care.

He saved the JMM KO call a few months back.

RJJ just says dumb stuff because he plays favorites to certain fighters. He overrates anyone with a slick style and usually gets carried away with a black fighter.

And yeah, RJJ saved the Pac Ko with is oohhhhh and he's not getting up. Only thing worse was the Buster Douglas ko of Tyson which is just the worst thing I've ever heard in my life. Douglas throws a perfect uppercut and combo to ko the most feared man on the planet who's an overwhelming favorite and there's just zero emotion

but Donaire also has problems taking the lead in fights, he was very ordinary on the front foot vs Nishioka and Vazquez. Even could argue that Mathebula was outworking him in the later rounds and kept tagging Nonito coming in (Still lost but I thought it was like a 115/116-112 kind of fight). I agree that Nonito will have the higher workrate because Rigo's is even worse but I think he'll get the nod with harder/cleaner blows. Still wouldn't be shocked to see either guy Ko'd though.

This reminds of Andre Ward just tearing through Froch/Kessler. Nonito Donaire was the best 122 in the world coming into this fight, top 10 p4p, he was THE Champ of any division he's ever been in and Rigo made him look like an average fighter. Rigondeaux is far and away better than anyone in his division like Ward

I got the dull part right but not the winner. Rigondeaux was impressive early and late in the fight, felt he ran way too much in the middle rounds.

He'll even the knockdown that nonito had was kinda cheap, he had his forearm in rigo face right before. Outside of that round, it was rigo who imposed his will on a guy who had proven to be a level above other champs. The only thing is... Who will rigo fight next that will do better than donaire?

he only opens up if you make a mistake. In the first couple rounds Nonito was more aggressive and Rigondeaux caught him every single time any time he tried something. The middle rounds had nothing because Rigo had Donaire completely discouraged in a turtle shell. After the kd, Donaire opened up more and Rigo completely beat the sheet out of him until the end.

Rigo one of the few guys who can pull off that amateur style. He's not gonna throw a lot but he's gonna throw everything with cruel intentions and you are just not gonna hit him past a 25% clip
