Jodi, you believed in Charlie Villanueva also. Just saying. Sorry to break it to you.

I know, I know... :sigh:

I admire your dedication to your teams players. I kinda liked CV and BG too! I like every player that has played on the Pistons at some point including AI!!! 8-)

I would love to get Westbrook on this team, but not if we have to give up Knight

Exactly. We would only trade Knight if we got Lebron....MAYBE Durant back (but we'd better be getting some extra compensation in return).

Not enough bro

Forgot the moment when Knight was better then Westbrooke.[/quote]
You also forgot the sarcasm in my response. My real stance on that is merely 3 posts above the tongue in cheek comment for crying out loud.

I was being totally serious, DetroitDon...so you can direct that comment toward me. Toooootally serious.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

And I'd trade my wife for Kate Upton, so...
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

OKC goes young and cheap and still contends

Pistons go more senior, and ready to compete.

1. Martin is a FA you cant trade for a FA

2. The salary differance means your sending Monroe and Knight and Drummund. Those 2 Thunder players made more $$$ this yr than everyone outside of Magette combined.

If we made a deal with OKC I'd want Ibaka... would part with Monroe.
