Re: Around The League
Love this line from Magic today. He just said on TV he wouldn't re-sign Dwight for max money if he can't win these last 2 games.

Re: Around The League
Everyone needs to be watching the Lakers Spurs game right now. Duhon is doing us proud. He's a walking turnover right now.

LA needs blake to have a career night just to tie... 18 pts on 7/9 FG near the end of the first half.

Re: Around The League
So Utah has to win both their games and the Lakers need to lose to Houston to make the playoffs. Right?

Re: Around The League
I've seen Nicholson use that move Timmy busted out on Dwight to end the game. Guy has incredible footwork for being a dinosaur.
Yes, Utah must win 2 road games, Lakers must lose to Rockets.

Yes.
Jazz need to beat the wolves, Houston will need to be playing for something when they meet LA, and Memphis needs to not be playing for anything when they meet Utah. That is the only way I even see this working out in favor of the Jazz.

lakers will make the playoffs. stern already decided it. the broadcasting company laker's has a contract with would lose too much $ if they didn't.

Re: Around The League
I'm going to enjoy watching OKC destroy LA. Of course, the league could kill that matchup if they wanted to as well. LA could easily finish 7th with the help of the refs. That would make for a more entertaining/competitive series between LA and SA.

Re: Around The League
Bobcats win thanks to mcroberts again... we're now tied with them for worst record with one game left each.
Jazz also won tonight. Unfortunately, Memphis won as well so while they're stuck in the 5th seed, they may still have home court advantage to play for against utah on wednesday (as long as Clippers lose against blazers tomorrow). Rockets and Warriors are tied with Houston owning the tiebreak. They both play other teams tonight, so hopefully it works out so Houston still has something to play for against LA. Utah needs to win and LA needs to lose tomorrow for dwight to miss the playoffs.

Re: Around The League
Looks like Utah and LA will be up against opponents that want to win. Houston is a combined 1-7 against Spurs/Nuggets in regular season.

Re: Around The League
Stephen Curry looks set to break the NBA's single season 3 pointers made record set by Ray Allen (269 @ 41.2%). Curry is currently at 268 and shooting at a ridiculous 45.5% rate. He is a career 44.7% 3-pt shooter after taking 640 shots from deep. At this point in time, Ray Allen was shooting ~38%.

Orlando's race to the bottom is almost complete. Being the worst team guarantee a draft selection no worse thatn 4th, with a mean likely selection within the top 2 (a touch above 49% chance for a top 2 choice).

As long as we get #1 or #2 I'll be happy with either. even #3 isn't bad.
#1 Noel
#2 Bmac/Smart
#3 Oliduopue
