Drafting Burke to back-up Knight (and share a little floor with him) would mean that we pretty much don't re-sign Willy or Jose. :D

It preserves cap room.

It makes Stuckey a tad more expendable too. That's a different issue, but losing him has obvious advantages.

I hope we move up slightly with the Clippers pick and draft Ricky Ledo without giving up our other second rounder. Kabongo should be our guy in the 2nd round if he's still there. I think he'd be a great backup at worst in the NBA.

If we do decide to get Burke, how about trading Knight for a lower pick and grab GR3? Its probably doable and would probably put butts in seats at least...

No on Burke, not our top need. I get the Mich thing but we dont need him.

We need a scoring wing

What we need is an impact perimeter player, preferably one with range. At this point it doesn't matter to much if they are a 1, 2 or 3.

A wing may be slightly preferable, but we are clearly not so well set at PG that I'd pass on BPA if that's the way it fell. Draft for talent, trade for need.

^I agree completely. I think we are set at 4/5. Monroe and Dre have both proven to me that they are a capable front court. 1, 2 and 3 are still up for grabs.
