the spurs really do play like the jazz this game. very sobering to see.

i didn't think that the spurs admiration to the jazz and them modeling themselves after the jazz means they'll play awful, crappy basketball like the jazz. just a godawful game.

Too true.

howard making a clear offensive foul, shoving duncan. result? duncan called for the foul, howard gets and makes two free throws. even the broadcasting crew called out the refs on that one.

Go to Hell, Spurs, indeed.

The Spurs laid such a humongous egg, they probably don't have any A$$ left. And if there is, it should be thoroughly kicked.

#$#$ck the NBA...how the hell does something like this happen...1 loss since April, with wins on Spurs, GSW, @portland, Memphis, Dallas...

This is the same Lakers team everyone dogged all year, the same one who lost all pre-season games!!

Spurs was never that easy on us, if the NBA isn't rigged than I am the cause of Kobe Bryants injury.

When was the last time Spurs had 37% shooting?! They score 86 when they average 103ppg.

I mean how does anyone explain that...I mean it was obvious the refs helped with them 50FT's and the other games were also screwd up, but now I can't believe that the NBA could get a team to take a DIVE like that.

The NBA must have their hand deeper than I could have ever imagined, with new proof every year.

I watched this game, San Antonio was making a TON of poor decisions, and Parker is still injured. Blame this on the Spurs, and give credit to the Lakers for playing a good game, and catching fire in the 4th quarter. Now, the Lakers were getting some preferential treatment in other games, like the game before against Golden State, but this one was called fairly. Don't bring up free throws, because Pops did the hack a Howard in the game.

If I were the Spurs, I would rather face a Kobe-less Laker team over the Jazz. The tides changed at the last minute.

Love how you guys are always blaming the refs and saying the NBA is rigged when in fact you could have avoided being in this situation if you guys actually won your games and not put your faith into the Lakers losing

You're right. I should have played much harder earlier on in the season and tried to win games for my team. I think that sometimes, as players, we all get really distracted with complaining in these forums...it really seems to affect the way we come out to play on a nightly basis.

It's easy to look back and say "we coulda done this, or if only we'd a done that" -- we just gotta take things one day at a time. We can't worry about what other teams is doing. If we play hard everything else will take care of itself.

:D

you're right. well, is "taking it one game at a time" taken? i think there is something close to that already, so... how about "we did our best, but the basketball gods just weren't with us"?

Every answer at every Utah Jazz post-game press conference this year: "One team played hard [...] One team played hard [...] One team played hard."
