EDIT : The first time Chauncey recorded more than 4 passes average on a season in NBA, he was 25.

BK needs to gain A LOT more strength to be on Chauncey's level. Honestly, untill he gains some size and strength he will not improve that much imo.

I feel like he can do it, he's a hard worker. Chauncey was very light when he came in the NBA (and he already was 21).

To me its not about his strength, its his control/IQ/pace etc. Chauncey was a master at controlling pace and knowing exactly when to slow it down or speed it up, and just had an awesome feel for the game. Knight is the exact opposite. He has no clue how to control the pace of his own game, let alone control the pace of both teams combined like Chauncey could do.

I guess Billups size/strength is part of what allowed him to do that, which you could say is why Knight isn't able to, but its mostly IQ and instinct. There's guards smaller than Knight who have better feel/pace.

No matter how hard you guys try to hate on the kid, Knight at the end of the season will still be 20 years old and still be developing which we all knew when we drafted him. FO seems to think that he'll do just fine, which i agree, the question is "do we have time for him to develop?" and "if not, who's available to help right now?". i have yet to hear 1 good idea especially since JC blew up in all the haters faces
