Good job, Wizards. Way to take the high road and give this game away.

Tankalicious. If we get Sweet Otto Porter, this will be the game that made it happen.

You know what's funny? This is as good as those guys can play against Brooklyn's bench. No way this team is sniffing the playoffs next season with this bench full of scrubs.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

so now that the John Wall hype has died and he has gone back to playing like the normal terrible jump shooter and non reliable player in the clutch do we still give him the max?

Yes. Because even if you take the worst sampling of recent games (starting with the 3 for 18 effort against OKC the day after the 47 point outburst against Memphis), he is still posting a TS% of .514 and a turnover rate of just 9.4% despite a ridiculously high USG% of 32.7.

He gets to the line so much now that his inconsistent jumper isn't a huge issue. He has averaged 9.5 FTA's a game over the last 11 games, and that number would be over 10 if it weren't for that Boston game with the cheating refs.

Hell yes 8-)

Bad shooting nights happen, to me the most important thing is that he's a half court threat now and he keeps his turnovers down..

I was at the game last night. A very generous friend got us VIP seats near mid court. The barclays center is amazing. The lighting is great (I love the way they illuminate the court and darken the stands). I forget sometimes how much wealth there is in NY compared to DC. The VIP experience blows the VC's away -- likely a function of market forces but stark nonetheless.

Blanche is terrible. So is the team we had on the floor last night absent Wall. Amazing how the game changed when Okafor was shut down. Good for the tank though.

Seraphin, Singleton, and Vesely shot a combined 15-21 from the field. Yet all of their plus/minus are in the negative double digit range. Guess that's good for the tank.

The defense was atrocious. There's no way we should have yielded 106 points to that group of scrubs.
