Washington @ Chicago 8:00 PM (Wiz season finale...so sad)

Post#1 » by AWIZZINGBULLET » Wed Apr 17, 2013 3:18 pm

Wizards closed out last season on a six-game win streak, tonight they'll have a shot at bringing it to a close losing six straight. For the sake of draft positioning I'm hoping for just that.

Here's to hope:

> Wall finishes with another strong game.
>Vesely takes more jump shots.
>Booker continues to look like a strong bench option for next season.
>Seraphin goes to work IN THE PAINT.

>Sacramento wins out and Chicago plays like they want none of Indiana 1st rd.

Steve Buckhantz will have another somber "see you in October, have a safe summer everyone" for the 5th straight season. #FireGrunfeld #FireErnie

I hope #24 is off this roster soon.

Why would you hope he is off? He played solid last season down the stretch when he actually got playing time. Blame EG for drafting him, blame Whit for not playing him or developing him. I bet Vesely would be further along in his career if he was drafted by a better franchise.

Back to the main topic, I hope we lose so we can get another draft pick. We need another piece to add to the core, preferably a big man. Would be great if we won the lottery and got Noel.

This one is more important than the others. Because if the Wizards lose, they have to go through the entire offseason feeling like losers. But, if they win, Ted can write a blog post about how a win in the final game will propel the players throughout the offseason and will carry over to next season. And possibly beyond.

Extremely important game.

The Bulls want to keep the 5th seed so there coming out guns blazing, if they lose and fall to 6th they'd have to go through the Pacers and the Knicks/Celtics winner

So you're saying it's going to be an EPIC battle because the stakes are so high.

I agree.

I think a loss and ending the season on such a dismal end would increase EG getting fired. The 6 game winning streak last year was not good for us

Hey guys, I'll be rooting for the Wiz to win this one. Any word on if Wall/Nene/Ariza/Okafor are playing? I hope so.

I don't know what the Bulls players want, but a sizeable portion of Bulls fans would rather fall to 6th, so that if we make it out of the first round, we don't face Miami until the ECF.

Personally I just hope it's a competitive and entertaining game with no injuries.

Good luck Wiz.

I just had that same thought. This could be an epic tank battle. Guys are going to start intentionally dribbling it off their foot and shooting at the wrong basket.

He's not worth anything not even minimum salary

Losing 6 straight to end the season will be great.

Okachamberlain is out, this should be over quick. The Tank has made a strong comeback. It was in shambles a couple of weeks ago.

Can't say I'm sad to see this season end. We pretty much got the best possible outcome besides making the playoffs. Wall arrived and Beal showed he has a bright future in this league. Let's just hope EG doesn't screw it all up this summer. He probably will though.

I want to see some Ves is SF/PG

Oh yea.

Put it in his hands. Lets see a coast to coast like he would do overseas.

And as someone else posted. I want to see a 3 ball attempt from him. Bring out the Air Wolf.
