I'll preface this by saying I haven't kept up with WWE in years, but no one deserves to end Taker's streak.

I looked for places near me in Milwaukee WI to watch WM (ended up ordering it and inviting friends over) but didn't find anything suitable. BW3 no longer shows WWE events, Fanatics is closed and Romine's has a pretty terrible rep in my circle. There were a few hole-in-the-wall type places that charged $5 to come in and watch but those places looked pretty shady. It sketched me out a bit because I remember when everyplace around here would show WWE PPVs.

Great pics, dude! Come to find out, I had tickets for the afternoon session of Axxess instead. Not the tickets I requested. Kind of a bummer, because I was hoping to go to the DGUSA and Chikara shows in the afternoon. Looking back, I should have just went to those anyway.

I didn't wait in line for anyone. The matches were cool though. Loved seeing the NXT guys. Did Alex Riley wrestle during your session? He fought (Kruger I think... I don't remember for some reason) and got ridiculously big reactions.

Ah okay, I didn't get to see anyone but those three, the lines for most of everyone were ridiculously long, but laughably short for JTG, like no line at all.

I liked how they had it set up so you could watch the NXT action while waiting in line (unless you were in one of the really long lines) I was disappointed that Adrian Neville wrestled while I was walking around the outside part. The matches I saw were Percy Watson vs Ascension where Percy got a good reaction but destroyed, a Mason Ryan match who looks a little different than he used to, aPaige match and I can't remember her opponent but she was getting the best reaction out of the matches I saw, and Kaitlyn/Fox Divas title match where Kaitlyn dropped Fox on her head, then speared her legs, pinned an tried to stop the count at 2.5 but the ref rang the bell anyway so she did her shrug. Both Miz and Y2J were spending a good amount of time in the ring answering questions and just being the good talkers they are while I was in there too.

As widely reported, Extra! host and occasional wrestler Maria Menounos was booed heavily by fans while inducting former WWE Champion Bob Backlund into the WWE Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden two weeks ago. This week's issue of the Wrestling Observer reports that multiple WWE employees were upset with the crowd's unwelcoming reaction to the television presenter and undefeated grappler, particularly since they love affiliations with celebrities and with her subsequent letter acknowledging the negative response, it got out that a strong portion of their fanbase lack proper manners, refinement and decency.

No doubt. I told a couple people around me off as they were booed her. The general consensus was that you can't be a hot female celebrity and also like wrestling. The only thing I took from Maria's speech was how genuine her WWE fandom is. To boo her is to not listen to a word she's saying; to not even give her a chance because of the way she looks. It was definitely disgraceful and I was embarrassed by it, personally.

I don't think it has much to do with her being an attractive female. Granted I wasn't at the HOF but I have been to wrestling shows where "mainstream" celebrities have been booed lustily. For example, if her Extra! co-host Mark McGrath (a good looking man) had a similar background with the wrestling industry as she does, I think he would've gotten booed as well. I think the reason has to do with wrestling being counter-culture and so when you bring in someone who is a quasi-celebrity like she is and/or lacks a certain "cool" factor as she does as well then you can't expect them to get a great reaction. Then when you add onto the fact that those fans that were booing loudest were likely quite inebriated, I just wasn't that surprised by it.

Well, awesome. It was gross, and really uncomfortable.

On a similar note, when Donald Trump teased a match between him and Vince I would honestly be fascinated by it. Because Trump is a real-life version of Chris Jericho's character at the end of his WCW stint and beginning of his WWE stint, he's a delusional heel that thinks he's a face.

a presenters speech is supposed to be concise, she was giving the most ludicrous factoids and went rambling on and on like she was the one being inducted, unlike Trump she didn't get boo'd out of the gate, they gave her a chance, bottom line is her speech was the reason for the reaction, although coming where she comes from didn't get her any sympathy
they gave her a chance
Oh bull they did. Right from the beginning the douchebags around me were muttering **** like "Oh, she's obviously reading from a script", and "I wonder who actually wrote this". And it wasn't just one group of people.
