I hope the Spurs dominate...the complete lack of disrespect they were getting on that broadcast was ridiculous. ESPN, including JVG were acting like whoever won this game would have in essence a "bye" in the first round of the series. There is definitely cause for concern with their recent play however..but hopefully that small break can help them regain that defense they were playing earlier, and the crisp offensive movement. It won't be a cake-walk though, the Lakers with Dwight engaged defensively (and no Kobe) IMO have better ball movement, much better defense, and Gasol is ridiculously effective. And while the Spurs are not a slow team by any means, they play a similar brand of basketball in terms of pace w/ the Lakers.

That's not entirely accurate. If the paint is packed, he's going to settle for a step back low % three pointer. Or if he can't get enough space, he'll pass it at 1 on the shot clock to one of those guys standing on the perimeter. And more and more teams don't even come to help on those Harden ISO's and stay home on the shooters, so he isn't even necessarily sucking in the defense when he's doing that, either.

Wow....Harden vs Old Team....what Irony. I couldn't have scripted this better...

I think Rockets are fully capable of taking out OKC in 1st round..and you are not the Jazz, so your team can pull together and fight a full 48 minutes and to the bitter end, because you have a real PG and real leadership both on the court and in your staff.

However, you have to out-beat Durant's and Westbrook's will to win because quite frankly that is going to be one tough cookie to crack! Plus Ibaka and Perkins are dirty players in the paint. Motiejunas and Asik are gonna need to get them boards and watch out for their nuts

Honestly I wouldn't bet on Rockets. I would if I knew the backcourt was going to shoot lights out especially if Parsons and Delfino are gonna be hot. Then the big guys are going to need to protect that paint better than they have all year, and Asik needs to stay out foul trouble with a guy like Westbrook running the paint.

I see this a Game 7, Rockets win 4-3

David Stern planned this. Lakers get tired old Spurs, and advance to the 2nd round. League plays up Harden Vs his old team. Rockets lose in the 1st round.

F&$K David stern, the decrepit old Bastard. Someone should do the NBA a favour, and put a bullet into him!

The Grizzlies/Clippers series is interesting...the Clippers are not a bad defensive team (in fact top 10 in DRTG), but they are very poor in defending the three point line..one of the bottom 5 in the league. But the Grizzlies can't take advantage of that b/c they're one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league.

I thought the Rockets had a chance to win game but after hearing what I heard on the radio the Thunder are going to destroy us. Thabo and Ibake average 62% against us their 3rd and 6th options. They average 121 points against us and their top five scorers at least average 16 points a game against us. Just let it be quick and painless. CHOKE CITY!!!

1. Oklahoma City vs. 8. Houston 4-0

4. LA Clippers vs. 5. Memphis 3-4 does not think the Clippers are a team to be feared in the playoffs outside of Paul. Maybe the most interesting game.

3. Denver vs. 6. Golden State 4-2 Even though this will not go 7 I think this is the most interesting game. I really want to see this. Wonder what will be the over under of points scored throughout the series

2. San Antonio vs. 7. LA Lakers 4-2

EAST
1. Miami vs. 8. Milwaukee 4-0 BORING! They should just give the series to Miami and be done with it but can win one game because Miami just might fall asleep for one game.

4. Brooklyn vs. 5. Chicago 3-4

3. Indiana vs. 6. Atlanta 4-2 BORING!!!!

2. New York vs. 7. Boston 4-3 I hope Boston wins it but I just think they won't

 Not only the Rockets win the series but take two on the road when they only won 8 road games against the West. And those two games are the first and last of the series no chance in hell. Maybe they luck their way in one win
