It's a terrible story, but I went to bed reading 70 and woke up reading 5-15. You should only use news sources like CBS ;).

When I heard explosion and fertilizer plant in the same sentence I figured it would be bad though. Something that frustrates me about these events in the news is CNN's pushing the "foul play not ruled out" then following it up in smaller font with "but it's not likely."

The plant caught on fire. That's just called modern civilization. They work with highly explosive substances, and I hate to say this, but someone was likely not following protocol which resulted in the accident.

Oh okay nothing to do with terrorism.
Still heartbreaking news nonetheless.

I read the EMS representative say that last night and seemed legit considering the strength of the explosion and the proximity of buildings. Anyways its much better that the number did not reach the estimations.

Definitely still heartbreaking, but the point of my post was to point out the inappropriate attention grabbing headlines that are used by news outlets during tragedies. They'd rather participate in purporting rumors and increasing their ratings than actually report the news.

I agree. The media has been known to fabricate stories for their own benefit rather than putting out accurate statements from the beginning of time.

CNN or TMZ? There all a F'n joke!
