The first LAC home game (AKA the Flop) deserves nomination.

Re: Which Game Really Cost the Jazz the Playoffs?
there were quite a few unfortunately. but i have to go with the home game loss to the knicks.
1. the playoff stakes and implications were clear.
2. the knicks were really short handed. was this a back to back game for them too? either way, it was at the end of a long road trip.
3. the jazz played at home.
4. we were beat by an INJURED Kurt Thomas.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

We were beat by an old man playing hurt who sucks so bad that he was subsequently cut to free up a roster spot for a 15th man.

he was actually cut because he played vs. the jazz with a stress fracture and required surgery after the game so he was done for the season anyway, i think. either way, the jazz were beat by "hurt" Thomas.

I don't know which game caused the utah the playoffs but can we now finally start the "Fire KOC" Campaign. Sure he's not the GM anymore but he put this team together and thought the fans should accept it, he brought in MO, he still has heavy influence in the organization and he is still getting a pay check.
Its time to rid us of that parasite and move on towards a brighter future.

I wouldn't call him a parasite, but just about everything he's done post-Deron trade has missed the mark. I missed Devin Harris so much this year...

You're referring to the draft-day trade to get Deron, right?

Well, I would say the 82nd game of the season cost us the most. It was definitely the MOST important game of the season. We hardly looked like we were fighting to get that last spot.

Game 82 didn't make any difference since the Fakers won their game.......

You are absolutely right about that...... The way the team folded in the second half was just embarassing.......
