I think our finish to the season has given Laker fans delusions of grandeur. I think we take them in 5, we'll probably drop one at Staples. They're too awful defensively to bother us too much.

Without Kobe I really don't think the Lakers have much of a chance taking us down. I see us winning this one in 4 or 5 games.

Role players need to step up.

Specifically talking to you, Neal, Green, Splitter and Bonner. No more disappearing acts.

Wanna say what up to my good buddy Donald Kaufman aka DK as I always call him ! I've been peeping you on the GB....funny stuff man as usual. Anyway it's a Laker-Spur tangle one more time, if I'm not mistaken this is the earliest we've met in the playoffs since a 1988 meeting in the 1st round. Usually our matchups are either WCF or WCSF.

I know it'll be a lot of trash talk over the course of this series, but I hope you truly know most Laker fans have nothing but respect for the Spurs. You're the only franchise that's rivaled what we've done.

OK back to throwing rock !!

What's up Deep! Been five years since we played each other in the playoffs, in a series most Spurs fans would like to forget. I still say Fish fouled Bones Barry on that play at the end of G1 (or G2, the memory is not great these days).

For the other five Spurs fans in here, Deep is absolutely one of the great Laker fans on RGM. He brings it tough but he doesn't cross the line and really knows the game. Some of the others...

Looking forward to an entertaining series.

LA's gameplan will likely be about shutting the paint down and most likely giving up the long range ball. Our role players need to step up and make their shots.

Defensively, it'll be interesting if we also stay close to the basket to take away post ups. Our last game againts LA, we basically allow Dwight and Pau get post positions all game long.

The series should come down to which role players step up. It'll be especially interesting how well Duncan comes out. He'll have his hands full with Dwight and Pau, both defensively and offensively.

Gotta protect homecourt. Game 1 is always the important one because it's the easiest to steal.

This really hasn't been close. The Lakers look like they've never played together before.

The big 3 were amazing today but if we want to make a serious run Green, Kawhi and Tiago all need to step it up.

#stealthatkobe

Not a pretty game by any stretch, but we got the W which is all that matters. Great performance by our Big 3, loving Ginobili's run to end the 3rd.

No T-Mac sighting, which bodes well for us in getting past the first round.

Too much PT for Joseph and Neal IMO, we're not as deep as it feels like we were even a few weeks ago.

Parker really came alive in this game, especially in the 2nd half which was good to see. Manu makes such an impact for this team when he's healthy. He really is one of the smartest to ever play the game in my opinion.

I don't get why Duhwight has 3 (or is it 4?) DPOY awards and Timmy has none. Timmy is the better defensive player and a much smarter defender. Howard gets the spectacular blocks from time to time but he is so boneheaded and it shows on the defensive end. I buy Marc Gasol as this years DPOY -- he's almost perfect on D with his positioning and his strength. He could barely jump over a piece of paper but he just knows where to be and he rarely overplays his man.

I've been impressed by Steve Blake. He's a tough player. Gritty on D and makes good decisions. He's been better than Nash in this series, which isn't that hard.

Onto LA. The only thing stopping us now will be the refs, who will no doubt make an impact in at least one of these next two games.

I hope Splitter isn't gone long.

Won't matter in this series but next round it will.
