You're wrong on all counts, there's no significant difference between his 2011-2012 seasons and his 2009 season with the Yankees except BABIP.

As for the PED's, why don't you tell us exactly how they help you become a better baseball player. They definitely help you put on muscle mass faster than regular strength and weight training buy and some PED's allow you recover faster from injurues but there's nothing beyond that as far as Baseball is concerned.

So what happened throughout the 90s was just a coincidence?

Many explanations for the offensive explosion in baseball the 1990s/2000s and they certainly don't all involve PEDs.

I really hope fans keep supporting this team despite struggles and injuries. If they go all-in and everybody loves it on paper but the attendance stays the same (18,000 tonight) then it might be another 20 years till they spend again.

Really hope they generate some positive buzz soon.

It's a weeknight in April with the Leafs playing a late season game down the street. Add that to the slow start and injuries and it makes for low attendance. There is no doubt it's going to increase come the summer, particularly if they are in any sort of playoff race.

Rogers makes a ton of money off this team (and has for well over a decade) regardless of the attendance at the games. That's only one of many revenue streams for them.

If they don't spend on this team in the future, it won't be because of that. It will be for the same reason they basically haven't since they bought the team, they can make a major profit without doing so.

Indeed. People will come out if the Jays are in any sort of a playoff race after hockey season is over. I wouldn't be too concerned about the attendance for that reason as well.

Attendance generally picks up when May hits and all the uni/college students are back for weekday games and people start to take their vacations.

I'm going to my 3rd game tonight. Im expecting it to be packed with Yankee losers...I mean fans.
That's what she said.
