Yeah we knew it was going to be tough but now that I see it yikes. But who knows, there are always surprise teams better than expected and worse.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, a touch harsher than I expected. Having a BYE in week 4 blows too.

Yeah the bye in week 4 is disappointing.

The defense will be tested early with Kaep & RGIII back to back to start the season.

We catch a break getting the Falcons at Lambeau in December.

I like that we have no Thursday night games, just the Thursday Thanksgiving game.

With the early bye week and the injury issues this team seems to have every season we don't need multiple short weeks this season.

The best thing is when we make the playoffs nobody can say we didn't earn it.

Someone will still say it.........but they won't really believe what they say.

I still see 11-5 as long as Rodgers/Clay stay healthy.

I think we could play some team like the Jaguars every week and you would still predict 10-6. Yes its a tough schedule but I still think we go 11-5 or 12-4.

There's a chance we get the Skins without RGIII. That would be neat.

Personally I would rather face RGIII and hope that he is at 100%. Yes the "easy" win would be nice but I think our defense needs practice against the option in real time and what better than to face Kaepernick/RGIII in back to back weeks? Then the Eagles later on in the year (Vick/Chip Kelly). Three games against different types of options. I am guessing IF we lose in the postseason it won't be because we have no answer for the option.

Nope, **** that. I'd rather the rest of the league be the guinea pigs so that by the playoffs it's no longer any kind of a surprise. I'm already bummed we have to face the 49ers in week one for that reason.

RG3 is progressing nicely and might play week 2, but the Skins will be ultra-conservative with him.

Love Niners/Redskins back to back. That's perfect from a preparation standpoint, although it will drive me crazy if we play the option well the first two weeks and then play like we did last year in a playoff game.

It is an extremely daunting schedule, but I'm glad. Maybe surviving it at 10-6 or whatever makes us more ready for playoffs.

Should be fun.

A week 4 bye really for a lock in playoff team.

This schedule is rough. I already got the Packers locked in starting the season at 0-2. Should be fun to see the Packers man handled a 3rd time in like 13 month span by the 49ers and than play RG3.

I expect the Packers to give up 400+ yards rushing to the Qbs alone. I sure hope there little session at Texas AM on studying the read option helps them lol.

Schedule is tough, but I am glad to get our toughest game of the year out of the way after week 1. We could go in there like gang busters and get a W. i think the packers are better than every other team on the schedule as long as they are healthy. The way the schedule breaks down I see an 11-5, 12-4 win team.

Also looking to do my yearly road trip.. Looking at Baltimore or Cincy. Anyone been to either? Thoughts? I was thinking Baltimore since the Nats may be in the playoffs at the time, and could check out a game while im in Baltimore!

Baltimore is very nice, the stadium and stadium area (not the city) I mean with lots to do nearby. Even if you just tailgate one of pubs nearby would be very cool to watch the game from.

However my wife just told me tickets for Balt/GB were going for 600 minimum. I trust that'll come down, but in the age of nice TVs, no way I pay close to that for a ticket.

Damn, I might have some good away game options. My cousin lives in SF so going to the season opener would be awesome. My college roommate is probably going to be moving to NYC in September so the Giants game is also very realistic.

Tough Schedule

7 games against playoff teams including both super bowl teams
5 games against teams that weren't that far from the playoffs in Bears, Giants, Cowboys, and Steelers
Week 4 bye
11-5 would be a great year with this schedule

Having a Thanksgiving game always makes for a more partying holiday.
