He won't be tortured even if he is captured. Luckily, we don't live in North Korea.

Question: since he's a terrorist, can he get the death penalty even if he committed the attack in Massachusetts?

Decent is an understatement.

He did some miraculous job by escaping (in a car?) and hiding (with weapon?) from 15000 cops ...

Yeah, makes me believe he is getting some help from others.

No way. Even if any outsider took part on the planning, they would not be helping him now that everybody knows him. He's as good as dead for the terrorists.

They know the car he's driving. Can't take too long to find him, I'm surprised they haven't yet.

Or that he's already dead, and his hiding place is at the bottom of the Atlantic.

That's right, he's hiding on the Raptors' roster.

I want him captured alive as well so they can figure out if there are any other accomplices, how he learned all this crap, motives, etc.

At the same time, even if they don't get him they'll still have access too all his personal belongings and can probably learn a great deal from that as well.

Going to remain skeptical, they've had like 8 people who they had on the ground with EOD robots going to check their jackets.

EDIT: I've got to say though, listening to all these thick Boston accents is making me chuckle.

Nobody answered my question earlier, can he get the death penalty? Because if he can, no chance they get him alive. He's blowing up.

The #1 question authorities have for him is "Are there more IEDs out in the wild?" Every other question is of much less importance, and only helps either contextualize the attack after the fact or tune law enforcement protocols in the future.

If they make it a federal crime, yes he can get the death penalty.
