My Picks:

1: Russell Westbrook (5)
2: Dwight Howard (20)
3: Ty Lawson (29)
4: Kevin Garnett (44)
5: Nicolas Batum (53)
6: Danilo Gallinari (68)
7: Kenneth Faried (77)
8: Mo Williams (92)
9: Elton Brand (101)
10: Jamal Crawford (116)
11: Jeff Green (125)
12: Emeka Okafor (140)

Wow. Even looking at that list, it surprised even myself at how much my team had changed from draft day until now. Some of the moves had to be made (dropping injured players) and some moves (in hindsight) was just pure stupidity on my part. (Dropping Jamal Crawford for Jason Richardson)

My Best Picks:

5: Nicolas Batum (53)
6: Danilo Gallinari (68)
7: Kenneth Faried (77)

Pre-All Star Break Batum was a Top 5 fantasy player in the league, and if he didnt get injured, I can say with confidence that my team wouldn't have been limping to the finish. Gallinari and Faried were both extremely important players for me as well. Super happy with that play this season.

Gallinari was someone I had been targetting before the draft even started. I had anticipated a breakout year for him, and was super happy to have him in Round 6. If I was able to get him, I would've definitely had tried to trade for him, no doubt.

My Worst Picks

3: Ty Lawson (29)
9: Elton Brand (101)

Elton Brand over Anderson Varejao? Enough said. I dont know what the hell I was thinking.

Ty Lawson was a toughie. At the time, I loved the pick, but he was super-mediocre at he beginning of the season, which made me trade him for Lowry, (who at the time was the Number 1 Ranked player). it was worth a shot at the time.

My Trades

Dwight Howard and Jason Richardson for Steve Nash and Chris Bosh

Bosh and Nash were the two guys who really skyrocketed my FG%. Nash provided some good assists for a while as well. I liked the trade at the time, as I was shopping Howard hard, and I feel this was the most value I could've gotten out of him.

Ty Lawson for Kyle Lowry:
See above.

All in all, I honestly dont know what happened post-ASG. My team completely dropped off a cliff in terms of production. At one stage I felt I was on track for a Top 3 finish, however not long later I was even questioning whether I would make next year's league.

Anyway, that's what fantasy is all about right? Thanks to everyone who made this Fantasy Basketball Season such good fun!

Millsap and G-Wallace were bad picks, but nowhere near as bad as Love/Bynum/Pau Gasol.

Millsap was still a top 50 fantasy player with solid all-around production who played nearly the entire season.
G-Wall was useless, but dropping a 58 pick for free agent doesn't hurt that bad if ya hunt the market properly.
Bynum on the other hand didn't play a single game and was a major waste for an 8th pick. Same goes for Love who missed most the season, and in the games he did play didn't contribute anything besides rebounding and points on top of killing FG% and FT%. Gasol only put up 90th pick worthy numbers and missed nearly half the season, even if he was usefull towards the end of the year.

As for my team analysis :

Draft :

11. Lamarcus Aldridge
Solid pick. Played most the season and contributed across several cats.
14. Paul Millsap
Bad pick with a bad level of production for a 14th pick, but not my worst draft choice due to still being a solid fantasy contributer who played a lot.
31. Mike Conley
Good pick. Elite steals and solid all around value.
42. Danny Granger
Worst choice due to injury. Too bad cuz he was looking good in preseason
55. Amare Stoudemire
Bad choice due to injury, too bad cuz he was beasting on a per minute basis.
66. Jeff Teague
Great pick, played like a 40ish pick.
79. Kevin Martin
OK pick. Was playing like a top 60 fantasy player over the first half of the year, then became useless and got dropped once his playtime got cut.
90. Andrew Bogut
Bust due to injury.
103. Anderson Varejao
Major steal until he got injured, was putting up top 10 fantasy numbers.
114. Ray Allen
Meh type late pick. Was solid early in the season until his playtime got cut.
127. Tony Allen
Bad pick, got dropped quick.
138. Jose Calderon
Good pick, too bad I let him go early.

Due to injuries I had to play the FA pool a lot, and managed to slap together a decent team that finished w/ 49 points.

Marion and Tobias Harris were great FA pickups, Danny Green and Vince were solid FAs, and Splitter/Barnes were nice stopgaps while Duncan/Butler were injured.

Vucevic was def a great FA pickup by Sunskerr, totally forgot that one.

Dont worry. I didnt include Gasol and Bynum on my list because I felt that it was general consensus that they were bad picks, and I wanted my list to be a bit different.

I actually had Millsap on my team last season, and he defintely good, so I suppose I can see the logic of picking him that high. Although I also had Melo and Cousins, who were better players.
