The Suns will get the No 1 Pick. After the draft, there will be tons of magazine covers with the Suns pick and that chick the Mercury picked with their No 1 pick.

Alright, but my draft order is this. Noels, McLemore, and a toss-up of Shabazz/Porter. Anyone else, I won't be very happy.

Yea but do you think a Dragic-McCollum backcourt would work?

If his injury is cleared, then I like McCollum even more than McLemore. The only question is about his height and defensive liabilities.

I would do that.

Make sure that "filler" is expiring though.

What about selecting Cody Zeller with that pick? I do not like him like a Top 5 pick, but with that pick he probably is a good choice.

BTW, Zeller is #4 going to our team in the last mock draft of Steve Kyler. I hope he is wrong.

Blanks is such a rubbish GM that I would not be surprised if we ended up with Zeller at at all.

Zeller wont be available at 10, no way.

There 9 top prospects and none of them is falling to 10 right now.

I'd do the Gortat for 10+Freeland for sure, with 10th you can chose between Carter-Williams, McCollum, Adams, Adetokoubo, Caldwell-Pope, Saric, Goodwin, Olynyk or Austin.

Mccollum is exactly what Dragic is asking for. A secondary ball handler/playmaker. None of the other two guards in this draft are as well rounded offensively as him. Dude has been the focus of the the other teams defense and still averaged 24 ppg. I would say he is an active, but slow defender.

Overall, I like it. The filler part can be an issue if we are expected to take on Freeland though. Think we overestimate Gortat's value and a first + possible second, even in a supposed "crap" draft is a pretty good return on a guy who doesn't want to be here anymore.

Can take Len at #10 or the international player center whose name escapes me.

Not sure what better packages might be out there for Gortat.

Well, drafting Noel (which means winning lottery) with our and McCollum with 10th (after possible Portland trade) pick would be the best case scenario for us.

With that being said, I`d be pleased with McLemore and Adams, also.

Someone to keep an eye on in the future, 14 year old Seventh Woods, a 6"2 PG.

This kid is going to be amazing. He already has college recruiters visiting his games.

He was grown in the same lab as Lebron. Seriously what a freak if he's really only 14...

Oladipo's athleticism, defensive instincts, and quickness are out of this world. He's a FAR better slasher than Shabazz and a slightly better ball handler as well. He plays the passing lanes better than any prospect in the draft and his on-ball defense is so good it literally frightens opponents. If you watched the Suns at all this season, it's clear that Dragic needs a strong defender alongside him to cover his deficiencies, and there is nobody better than Oladipo.

The belief that Oladipo has limited upside and is "role-player" material is completely false. His work-ethic and desire to improve is second to none. He was the most efficient player in the nation this year, and improved every facet of his game. What leads you to believe that he in a "finished product" and he won't continue to improve in the NBA? I hope the Suns draft Oladipo and stay far away from Shabazz Muhammed.

I agree completely.
Oladipo is a great example of work ethic and I really miss that in our team since the departure of Nash and Hill.

Oladipo is undersized that is tough to deal with in the NBA on both ends. He does have really good work ethic and relentless defense. That being said Markieff Morris went hard in the offseason and i didn't really see any improvement from his 2nd year. Oladipo doesn't upgrade our outside shooting at all even though his college numbers this year were pretty good you have to remember for most of the year he played on the #1 ranked team in the country also his conference loved to run zone which he is a perfect player to slash into a zone find weak spots and spot up.

Rank of #28 this year in 3PT FG %.
Rank of #21 this year in PPG (3 teams behind us playoff teams get to that in a second)

Pacers, Grizz, Bulls all had lower PPG then the phoenix suns BUT they have a "consistent" low post presence and of course im sure Bulls would be in front of us if Rose had been healthy. So basically we are a team struggling to score points. You can have a low PPG average but IMO you must have a consistent big or bigs to get you the Points in the paint. You guys want to draft Oladipo? We need instant offense more then anything with this team if you can't score its extremely hard to win! If we drafted a player like Oladipo we would need to push hard for a Al Jeff type of player. I forsure think we should address our lack of offense in this draft and not the Defense. I'm not trying say Oladipo is a bust im saying he is a bit over hyped playing on a really good college team and the phoenix suns at this time DO NOT need a player like him.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I'd do it. I think at this point with Gortat's injury, this deal is probably the best we could get. But I see us sticking with Gortat until at least mid-season to build up his value again.

I don't think Dragic would do well as a SG though. We have tried that plenty with Nash and Marshall. That backcourt hasn't really done well.

I love McCollum too. IMO, he's the best guard of this draft. Like you said, teams collapsed on him and yet he still up very nice numbers. The most important thing about him is that he's able to get to the FT line at a very good rate.

Guy will be the next Damian Lillard. Or maybe even better.

I just wish we didn't sign Dragic. But hey, maybe Dallas wants Goran? He's too old for us (by the time we become good he will be washed up) but would be perfect for Dirk.

IDK, i see Dallas making a big push for Jennings in the offseason. He's a stud.

Too much of a black hole for a Rick Carlisle coached team imo.

No he's not. He's a hideously overrated chucker who has been feasting of the fame of a 55 point game that happened 3 years ago.

Jeezuz.... these guys are not teenage tennis pros or olympic gymnasts. We have Dragic for 2 more plus a player option in 2015. He'll be a creaky 29 yr old vet then.

Fire-saling and tanking next yr for a guaranteed bad season and lotto run is certainly in your and many other draft drunk heads. Reality says otherwise thank goodness.

I look forward to all the squawking when the front office dips into the free agent market for someone like Iggy, Aminu, Milsap, Ellis.... or even Smith....

We get lucky in this lotto/draft with a gem to go with a wise FA acquisition and a shrewd trade....... we will be in the playoffs, led by our feisty guard you profess to regret having. Of course, the opposite is equally attainable if our front O falls on their face. But they will be trying, as they have been preaching this 'flexibility' and multiple avenue improvement process since that Nash guy left.... Can at least one Tanking Piper acknowledge that ?

One thing I believe is certain with them....Blanks cannot whiff on their additions (coach included) else he will be packing. He had better be doing his homework.... the dog will eat him if he forgets to.
