Ideally, we draft Noel and sit him out all next year, then draft Wiggins/Parker/Randle, trade our remaining owed firsts for bench role players, and go to town with Kemba/MKG/Wiggins/Biz/Noel. Or Kemba/Henderson/MKG/Randle/Noel or whatever.

Were going to need some luck next year as far as ping pong balls are concerned. I can see us flirting with 30 wins.

Vonleh is a baller as well. Any of those four would easily go #1 in 2013.

Even if we land in the 6-8 range, we have the pieces to make a move into the top 4 (Portland's pick, Detroit's pick, others)

You guys think the FO would actually use the pick this year?
Why not trade the pick for Eric Bledsoe and the Clipper's 1st rounder.
Go hard after Paul Milsap in free agency.

C: Biyombo / Haywood
PF: Milsap / Mullins
SF: MKG / Taylor
SG: Henderson / Walker
PG: Bledsoe / Walker

Sessions should have trade value as an expiring. Milsap will have an all-star season with super inflated stats. One more season in the lottery that results in an upgrade at shooting guard should position the team well for the future with plenty of cap space flexibility.

Let Diop and Reggie Williams walk. Offer the Qualifying Offer to Byron Mullens (doesn't make it a commitment, just makes it easier to resign him if it comes to that). REsign Josh McRoberts. Hes a posisitive for this team and he has been really effective.

Pray to whatever diety you can so Charlotte will actually wind up with the no.1 pick to pick McLemore.
If that doesn't happen do this;
Resgin Gerald Henderson (like it or leave it you need him) OR sign and trade him to Orlando for Arron Afflalo.
You might want to even do that if you don't have to BPA and can pick McLemore.

AMNESTY Tyrus Thomas, its time to move on. Trade Ben Gordon to Brooklyn for Kris Humphries. If possible see if you can pry MarShon Brooks from them. Seems to be a bust, but hes still only 24 years old. The trade is addition by subtraction for both franchises. But my guess is that Kris will want to put the Kardashian drama behind him for once and put together a strong contract year season.

Hang onto Haywood unless some crazy trade happens. Like someone on the trade Board is offering Joel Freeland the 39th and 40th picks (Its portland so i'm guessing they ment 39 and 46).
Honestly, its probably not going to happen. But i would do that.

I don't think this is the year a team like Charlotte or Detroit tries to hit a home run in free agency, i think this is the year really good scouting comes in to play. So you can land someone more under the radar

On RealGM, Bledsoe has the most overinflated value of anyone. He is an energetic change-of-pace backup. An incredible one, don't get me wrong, but people make it sound like he's going to be the next big thing, but he's really the kind of guy you want playing the JJ Barea role (only bigger) on a championship team. Nothing I'd trade a top 5 pick for, that much is certain. I honestly think there's no better place for him than LA right now. Playing behind the best PG in the league, I'd trust him for a solid 20-25 minutes a game at both guard positions.

In most drafts, I would agree, but this strikes me as one of those drafts that you win by not playing. The only impact player in the draft is coming off a torn ACL. This is now a league dominated by guards, especially point guards, so picking up Bledsoe for a pick would be a coup in my humble opinion. I see the question as being more about whether the Clippers would be willing to let him go at that price.

Why would Charlotte relegate their most valuable asset in Kemba Walker to the bench for a player that has proven less than him?

The Clippers would be ecstatic to get a top 3 pick in this draft for Bledsoe, I like Bledsoe but what makes him that valuable?

I kind of feel like the Bobcats would rather have another guy on a rookie contract that might pan out or be good trade fodder later rather than a guy (Bledsoe) that might want a big payday in a couple of years.

Group A - Chris Kaman, JR Smith, Josh Smith, Andrew Bynum, JJ Hickson, Tyreke Evans, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap

Group B - Earl Clark, Blatche, Jose Calderon, Chris Anderson, Beno Udrih, Marco Belinelli, Brandon Wright, Carl Landry, Tiago Splitter

Group C - Troy Murphy, Corey Brewer, Will Bynum, Jason Maxiell, Tyler Hansbrough, Austin Daye, Al Aminu, Roger Mason, Dorell Wright, Daequan Cook, Mike Dunleavy, Chase Budinger, Daniel Orton, Damien Wilkins, Mickael Pietrus

I put Andrew Bynum in there because he seems possible to get, but not Dwight Howard.

21 million to spend: 10 on Millsap, 6 on Hendo, 2 on McBob, 3 on Bellinelli.

If I had the money I would try to get one player from each group.

My dream offseason move for the Cats:

Trade Kemba Walker plus (?) for Stephen Curry.
I don't know how to pull this off. I would even consider a Walker + CHA #1 for Curry + GS #1

I know I'll catch a lot of flack for the idea but Stephen Curry is

+ one of the greatest shooters in NBA history
+ on one of the best contracts in NBA history (5ys/20 Mln)
+ hometown hero
+ a cornerstone player to build this team around

our only chance of ever getting Curry would be if he was disgruntled and demanded a trade. considering he just signed an extension I doubt that will happen any time soon
