More excited about the Mercury season

Post#1 » by Dr Manute » Mon Apr 22, 2013 11:22 pm

Looks like the Mercury could have a dynasty team. Something I've dreamed for the Suns since I began following them in 1988. I ended up buying Mercury season tickets (cheap). This is first time I ever bought season tickets to any professional sports team.

Here are a couple of youtube clips that sealed the deal for me:

I'd rather eat a jar of pickles in the heart of Damascus than watch women's basketball.

Due to the addition of Griner I'll say I'm going to watch a bunch more games and what not, but in reality I'll end up watching one game at the most.

My cousin plays womens basketball for a pretty competitive college team so I've watched a number of her games and I'll put it on the level of an average high school team entertainment wise. Theres a lot of hype since the addition of Greiner so I'll probably watch of few games on tv, something I've never even considered before.

What am I bitter about? I was just articulating just how excruciating it is to watch the WNBA.

I agree with you. I would rather watch a high school team play. I watch a WNBA game for 2 minutes and I witness three blown wide-up layups and immediately change the channel. It is a very difficult sport to watch when these people are so called "professionals." They are not professionals at all, I would be MVP of the WNBA if I had a vagina
