76ers Have Mike Brown, Shaw Atop Wish List

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Apr 23, 2013 4:36 pm

While the Philadelphia 76ers have recently begun searching for a new head coach to replace Doug Collins, sources say Mike Brown and Brian Shaw are at the top of their wish list.

Brown was fired by the Los Angeles Lakers in November and has also been linked to a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Shaw is currently an assistant coach with the Indiana Pacers and has been close to several head coaching jobs.

If you are reffering to Stan , he wants nothing to do with Philly. In a recent article said he is"dying to get back into coaching" and then also said , philly is one of 3 "armpit" teams in the league along with Detroit and Cleveland. Dont expect to see him in any of those 3 places. btw , the article was on bleacher report if you want to read it.

Either one would be great for Philly. Brown and co. would bring that much needed defense that Cleveland needs, but he also was the coach that brought the best out of the man child if Philly brings him back. Shaw deserves a good job, not a tank job, so I'd be happy with him getting either team and staying away from this Char-town shinnanigan that keeps happening along with the riduculousness in Detroit. Maybe lil Gundy will get PHX? Where will Ron Jeremy van Gundy land? We shall see...
