2009 NBA Draft

Post#1 » by texasholdem » Thu Apr 18, 2013 7:34 am

We've had Hasheem Thabeet, Jonny Flynn, Jordan Hill, Terrence Williams, Demarre Carroll, Toney Douglas, Chase Budinger, Jermaine Taylor, Jeff Adrien and Jon Brockman.

We currently have James Harden and Patrick Beverley who came from that draft class.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Really, other than Thabeet, which was semi-excusable, the picking in the 2009 draft wasn't that bad.

Griffin missed his whole first season and 16 games last year so he has injuries too

82 x 4 = 328 possible games.. Griffin has played in 228 NBA games while Curry has played 257, Harden 298
So Blake has missed 100 games already in his career due to injury.

I think both Curry and Harden have been better than Blake this season as their team leaders.

Nobody played more than 66 games last season ;-)

Griffin has only missed 2 regular season games since sitting out the 1st year.

d'oh sorry forgot about the lockout shortened season. He's still played less games than Curry or Harden tho.

You take a big over a small b/c a big man can presumably anchor your defense. Griffin has improved defensively, but I wouldn't say he's an anchor on that end. And in that regard, I think both Curry and Harden have been clearly better than him offensively this season.

offensively Harden and Curry are top 15 in the NBA IMO
I haven't watch much of Curry I have no opinion on his defense
but Harden defense is just bad
sometime don't even look like he even try to play defense
