Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 4m
Per @WojYahooNBA former Duke defensive star Billy King -- @bkdefend -- is getting contract extension as Nets GM. Well deserved.

Took me no time to mention the Gerald Wallace - Lillard deal, then him resigning Crash for 40mil to Bonnell.

Bonnells gets all emotional and butt hurt when someone disagrees with him.

Only got one response out of him, wasn't that bad. I still think he's completely wrong though and will say that I won the 140-character limited debate.

Bonnell at the beginning of the season:

"Many of you wanted #Bobcats to be the greater fool in the Harden auction. Glad they passed."

My response: "Considering the lack of talent on the Bobcats and not being desirable to FA's, landing Harden would've been a grand slam."

Bonnell: "Really? At max money? Overpay, under-deliver."

Yep, that's our beat reporter..

I also remember him saying something along the lines of "Just heard Harden walked away from OKC. Stunning and foolish."

The way I remember it going down, Presti pulled the plug on the contract extensions too fast to blame Harden for leaving OKC.
