Selig Wants To Be Judged On Growth In Franchise Values

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Apr 26, 2013 11:53 am

Major League Baseball commissioner Bug Selig remains adamant that he will retire when his current term expires on Dec. 31, 2014.

Selig, who will turn 80 next year, says he wants to be judged on the growth in franchise values since he took over.

He mentioned the $2.15 billion sale of the Los Angeles Dodgers next year.

"The Dodgers sale was stunning," Selig said. "Every franchise is worth a lot more today, and that's because the game is healthy."
