Padres Looking Internally For Pitching Help

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Apr 26, 2013 11:58 am

San Diego Padres general manager Josh Byrnes has been forced to look within the team's minor league system to fortify the pitching staff.

"At the same time some of our guys in the big leagues have struggled, some of our guys in the minors have pitched well," Byrnes said. "So, if that continues, we have some decisions to make."

San Diego's starting pitchers are 4-11 this season.

They are in the same boat as the Mets. Unfortunately, for the Angels, they don't have pitching prospects ready to fill in for their struggling big leaguers.
