Nuggets at Warriors Game 3

Post#1 » by Powder Blue » Fri Apr 26, 2013 1:36 pm

Is it possible for them to shoot THAT well two games in a row?

Lee is out, Curry is questionable

Karl talking about changing the starting lineup at the C position. His rotations sucked game 2 but it didn't matter because the Warriors were on fire.

Probably watching this in a Vegas sportsbook.........GO NUGGETS!!

Denver Nuggets ‏@denvernuggets 2m
#Nuggets coach George Karl says he's leaning toward starting Faried & Chandler together tonight along with Lawson, Fournier & Iguodala.

Not sure how I feel about this.

Definitely agree with this. Koufos was -18 and Faried was +10 last game. They went to a spread small-ball attack once David Lee went down - we have to get quicker to defend it.

at least he's giving fournier another chance and not just benching him for the rest of the series because he traveled twice.

i'm fine with faried at C and chandler at PF.

koufos has absolutely sucked.

I agree that koufos sucked in the past games but you can't give up on him so quickly.
I mean, I feel like at the end he has been the most improved player on the roster this year, bad games happen.

I'd rather they bring Chandler off the bench and start Faried and Koufos, you know the lineup that won us 57

idk, i understand that thinking. and rebounding is gonna be super important to win.

but at the same time, we didn't play a super-small ball best shooting team in basketball 82 times this season. when your bigs are too slow to contain the p&r, and not offensively dominant enough to make a smaller harrison barnes pay on the defensive end....then you probably gotta adapt some other way.

I agree, a 57 win team should not be letting a team dictate their starting lineup. Fact is Koufos has played like crap over the last month or so, but why not give that lineup another shot.

Andre Miller is really a big hole on this team.

The defense is just pathetic when he is on the court.

the only reason this game is close is because andre miller is blackhole on offense, and a total liability on defense.

frustrating.

great to see the rest of the team respond with aggression and defensive intensity though.

gotta keep it up, and not let them roll off any quick 3pt runs on us in the second half.

I have a hard time bitching about Miller considering the games he had in game 1 and 2.

I will say that the small lineup seemed to have worked to start the game.

Having Chandler and Fournier in there is very similar to playing with three at the moment.

I guess we're not destined for success.

I'll make the next gamethread, hopefully it ch anges the momentum of the series like it did for the Lakers series last year.

Has the FO given any indication they're willing to fire Karl?

At the trade deadline, Masai said something like Denver isn't a championship contender yet, and if you factor in that he re-signed Andre Miller, it sounds to me like Karl has a free pass this season.

incredible to see how eat minutes André Miller.

i don't kow what to think about Karl. He punished Kostas and gave free minutes to Miller.

Return to Denver Nuggets
