Vinny needs to be willing to take Paul out for a couple of minutes if he isn't being aggressive and bench him. Turnovers suck, turnovers while not being aggressive are useless. If Paul had 5 turnovers because he was attacking and things didn't go his way, no problem. Last night, about 3 of his turnovers were just him trying to force a pass to run the offense or throwing some poor pass. Can't have that happening.

Barkley has said he dislikes the Clippers, so any comments he makes about them are not too relevant to me. I'll listen, but a lot has to be filtered because he doesn't watch the team much or know much about the team. Ether way, Clippers actually defended well, but were as awful as they have been in a while on offense. I'll take the good out of it.

-12 on offensive rebounds
+6 in turnovers
-15 in FTA
-8 in FTM

Those were a lot of disadvantages to overcome with just beating the opponent in eFG%. I'm not really going to get mad about not winning 3 in a row vs an evenly matched team

I have a feeling game 4 will be a bit closer, but I'm interested to see if the Grizzlies defensive adjustments - keeping Bayless and Dooling off of Paul and Crawford, and keeping Ed Davis on the bench as much as possible (though we had to play him when Gasol got in foul trouble) - are enough to permanently change the complexion of this series, or if the Grizzlies simply had more effort last night.

This is a big one for us. If we lose this series, it's likely Hollins, Randolph, Prince, Allen are all gone, and we rebuild around Conley/Gasol and a new coach.

In general, how do the fans feel about a rebuild/re-tooling? I'm sure you guys love Randolph, but are also aware that he hasn't looked consistently the same as he did prior to his injury and will be making a ton of money over the next 2 seasons.

something to the extent of when we win, it's the players and when we lose, it's Del Negro.
said it with a lot of venom as well...lol.

yea, man it's clearly the Clipper players going up the podium and the microphones after games shifting the blame in this manner.
yet your frustration is with our team instead of the people who write this stuff.

I didn't even bother watching Inside the NBA after the game we played. I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Yeah we love Z-bo, but at the end of the day, the guy makes too much money given his apparent decline. We cannot afford to acquire a wing-scorer with him on the payroll, and if he is not playing like 2011 Zbo, then we just don't have enough firepower to contend. On top of that, we have plenty of young, cheap PF's with game in Arthur, Davis, and Leuer (I'm really high on him, he's surprisingly effective when he plays).

If we don't at least get to the WCF, I have a feeling Zbo will moved in a salary dump, or possibly even amnestied. He doesn't appear to be a 20/10 player anymore, and he's just not worth 18 mil next season if that's the case.
