I'm sure liking this draft. We'll see 1,2, 3 years down the road but right now.... very nice.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This is why you get extra draft picks. This guys ceiling is as high as just about any WR this year. Could bust hard too. But love the gamble here. Now lets get a qb and Fournier and call it a day.

Not really a bust in at this point in the draft, but I hear ya.

Yeah bad choice of words. He looks like a natural hands catcher too from the videos. I hope he is smart enough to learn our system. Could be so damn good if he can translate those measurables to the field.

Really excited about this pick. No idea if he'll be any good or not, but he appears to have all of the tools to become a superstar wide out.

Really like this pick. Looks fast and strong. Returns to the ball. Catches with his hands. The limited route running I saw in highlights looks fairly crisp.
Definitely good protoplasm to work with.

Sounds determined to be a good player. Doesn't lack self confidence either... compared himself to Wh00li0.

It's early and rookies are in shorts. But I like the look of WR Charles Johnson, 7th rounder from Grand Valley St. Smooth, fluid, nice hands

Re: Charles Johnson Discussion Thread
Question for you all about Jarrett Boykin, who should be competing with Johnson and Ross and Dorsey for a spot: He ran the 40 at the combine while injured, right? Is 4.7 or whatever the right 40 time for him; that is, Is he really a slow guy for WR, or did he just record a bad 40 time?
Looking at that competition, it might seem like Johnson and Ross are the athletes with speed, while Boykin has skills and savvy. Wondering if that's not accurate.

Re: Charles Johnson Discussion Thread
Boykin ran a 4.62 at the combine and a 4.57 at his pro day. Certainly not fast but not disqualifying either, particularly since he has good size (6-2, 217) and hands. I don't think he was dealing with any significant injuries.

Re: Charles Johnson Discussion Thread
Weren't a few scouts/people who saw Boykin play with the Packers comparing him to Boldin a little bit?

Re: Charles Johnson Discussion Thread
I think I might have last year. He's basically the same size as Boldin (Boykin's an inch taller) but outperformed him in every athletic test.

I am technically a person who saw Boykin play with the Packers, so you were right.

Lots of press on Boykin lately. I'd have to think Gurley still has the inside track on 6th WR (if the track exists at all), but if Boykin wins the spot, I'll be excited to see what he's got to show, too. He somewhat reminds me of Boldin, though obviously Boldin set the league on fire from day one and Boykin is not in that class.

Re: Charles Johnson Discussion Thread
I know you're joking, but WRs can't wear that # in the NFL. They can only wear 10-19 and 80-89.
