Knight, Calderon, Middleton and (I'm hoping) Olapido can shoot the 3 at a reasonable clip. Not having a "go-to-guy" on the perimeter is a serious over-sight though and one I'd correct if I could start all over again.
Drafting Bazz, trading for Ty Evans, trading for Eric Gordon.. all options we might have available to us. Looking at my squad it is the biggest weakness.
As for Aminu and Brewer kind of being the same player... I agree to some extent but I believe both are worth having. I like players that can contribute positively to the team without having the ball in their hands.
Regarding the bigs I chose: There are plenty of options available to us but I believe someone like Millsap would be a great addition due to his professionalism and experience. If we can't get Millsap then IMO we should look at someone like him.
Guys like Clark and Speights are nice and can contribute to this team in certain roles but I believe Millsap brings a whole lot more than what you see in the boxscore. Same with Dalembert - what he would bring can't be measured on the stat sheet.
With so many young players I'd look to sign 2 or 3 veteran pros (maybe 1 guard, 1 swingman, 1 big) and then get young guys that could be part of this organisation for a long, long time with the remaining cap space.
I appreciate all the feedback guys... at the end of the day let's just hope Joe can build a better team than any we post
