Ben Johnson I can deal with, but Franco needs to go. He can't hit a fastball even if it is only thrown 82 mph. Newhan also has to go. When Valentin returns, Newhan needs to be released and Gotay should remain up. He can probably play the positions Newhan can play, but he can actually hit.

Ben Johnson I dont mind, he can get more seasoning in triple A.

Julio Skanko can probably be released and start for the Yankees, Newhan needs to get shot.
BAF Suns

Chris Paul / Patrick Beverley / Shamorie Ponds
Buddy Hield / Timothy Luwawu / Stanley Johnson
Kendrick Nunn / Matisse Thybulle / Darius Miller
RJ Barrett / Kyle Kuzma / Dwayne Bacon
DeAndre Jordan / Kenrich Williams / DJ Wilson

I agree with you guys on Frankenstein and Newhan. Get rid of them ASAP. Ben Johnson can go down to the minors, as long as he's not here. I mean, now you know why the Padres gave up on him so fast, he can't hit a curve ball and swings at a lot of junk. I like Gotay, he can stay in place of Newhan. Also Gomez had some nice swings today.

Gomez has to go down.

Franco has to retire.

Newhan is a living joke, he does nothing well.

Ben Johnson is a 5th outfielder at best.

Endy Chavez is not an everyday player.

Gotay has good potential, I like his swing alot, kinda reminds me of a slower Jimmy Rollins.

Bring up Milledge as soon as he is off the DL.

At this point, I would keep Gomez up. Too bad Willie is not going to play him everyday. I would also find a way to get Rickey on the big club and put Gomez with him. Downs is not the right hitting coach for a player like Gomez.

Down is not a hitting coach period.

The guy is utterly worthless.

Agreed. I'm wondering how this guy hasn't gotten axed already. We need some fresh perspective in there, Down is not doing it for us any longer.

I'm still struggling to figure out what in his credentials got him the job in the first place. They should make Franco retire and offer him the batting coach job. :-?
