Because Jeff Van Gundy put the figure four on Dumars while SVG dropped the elbow on him.

Stan was sucessful in Miami though veterans hated him (Shaq, Alonzo at least, and maybe even Wade). He certainly has the tools to be a good coach, though.

Got to dislike how he handled the Howard situation. Let's say Stan is completely innocent and Dwight is the pinnacle of contempt in Orlando, it was stupid of Stan to sabotage his organization and disrupt his locker room by throwing his franchise player under the bus. It's massively disloyal to an organization paying you over 5 million. That makes him a baby, and according to others who followed Orlando he would always enjoy gossiping with the media.

Soo, he can be annoying, disrespectful, and his lack of judgment shown in Orlando may suggest a general lack of judgment that could hinder other coaching jobs. While I think he would make good use of our roster and help design a team around Drummond I don't want him.

Because he looks too much like a used furniture salesman. How can anyone take him seriously?? And that mustache... This guy clearly has no respect for himself!

Just like his brother likes to call out det and say coaches shouldnt come here because joes a players coach and theirs no stability, well iam sure theirs alot of players that might think that stan cant be trusted and might get thrown under the bus.To be honest I dont want none of them and with the money that they would command we could get another coach just as good..

I have never liked JVG or SVG. I never liked SVG offense in Orlando. I never liked JVG and his arrogant comments as a broadcaster. Actually, SVG is not so far from the tree. Just look at their recent attacks on the Pistons firing Frank. Really? Who asked you? Mind your own business, worry about yourself, be humble and modest, and maybe just maybe, people will start to like you guys. Really happy we are not considering them.

I remember when Shaq used to diss on SVG

After the way he handled the Howard situation, I doubt he'll ever coach again.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I think that;s the other way around. Its obvious Dwight was the problem and not Stan.

Stan Van Gundy is a GREAT coach. If you don't want him here that's your loss.
