only threat is houston. atlanta doesn't have the appeal to draw him in. dallas doesn't have the long term outlook that houston does.

houston has lin, harden, and parsons under contract. still has asik if they want to keep him as a backup or move him to surround howard even more. they have a respected front office and they have a history of being a successful franchise.

honestly wouldn't be surprised if he jumped ship, i wouldn't be too disappointed. still, best case scenario is him re-signing with the lakers even if people think he's not a franchise player. he'd be the best asset the team has and the only one south of 30 worth anything.

I hope we resign him then trade him when he's trade able if he hasn't improved. I would like players like Noah/Tyson who don't make excuses and just play hard!

Get rid of him and get rid of Dantoni as well. What was supposed to be such a promising Lakers season has turned into a disaster!!

I would love for him to stay. But if he go, F him! That would be the ultimate wussy move. Is he just gonna keep changing teams til he wins a chip? Lol! He'll be the laughing stock of the league. I wouldn't want a player like that on my team.

PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.

sucks. I don't want him as a primary star, and yet with Kobe they eat so much cap we'll never be able to properly deep. I can't see him working out for us, I don't like his attitude, and i hate his Kwame 2.0 hands, but we don't have any better options. I would feel better about him being our go to guy with a true big man philosophy coach on the team, though.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

1. dwight doesn't have what it takes to be a lakers franchise player.
2. he has only 1 go-to move
3. his help-side defense is great though
4. Bball IQ isn't too good

i won't be disappointed at all if he walks. go after a cheaper center- marcin gortat? anderson varejao? we need a hard nosed young competitor on this team. dwight is too happy-go-lucky to be a cornerstone of the lakers.

I'm fine either way. If he resigns, we know the management is going to surround him with other stars. He won't be the primary guy on the team. They'll find a way to get a nice wing player once Kobe retires.
