Power Forwards

With Thomas Robinson, Motiejunas, Terrence Jones, Greg Smith and Royce White, the biggest stockpile of young talent on one team at one position ive seen in a while. Who would you as a Rockets fan want to move forward with and develop and who would you rather trade.

Would really like to keep Royce White. He's a great humanitarian.

As for the basketball players, I like Motiejunas the best and hope the Rockets hang onto him, though he very well may bust out.

The rest I honestly don't care about too much. Greg Smith is solid, but if there's a team offering something of fair value, I'd very much consider it. With these other guys... take your pick. They're all kinda intriguing, yet still very much raw/flawed.

I would really like Jones to be our starter at the beginning of next season. If he can develop a reliable 18 footer or even 3pt shot to space the floor on offense, then his athleticism on defense will really help us. I see his ceiling as Josh Smith without the bonehead moves. As for the backup, I think Motie is probably the long-term answer. Robinson just looks short on the court, and Greg Smith offers no spacing at the PF spot. If we could move both of them to get a backup center that can just anchor the defense, I would be happy. I think Royce White is a sunk cost at this point. He is untradeable and unlikely to ever play. He will be off the payroll after next season anyways.

Of course if we were to get Dwight (which I would like) or Smith (which I would like if cheap enough, certainly no where a max).

I am excited by Jones most. T-Rob may explode next year too. The thing is Rockets have a logjam at PF position but none is good enough to start.

T-Rob: Learn to shoot and play SF.
T-Jones: Learn to shoot and play SF.
D-Mo: Learn to pay attention and play PF.
Royce: Learn to be a responsible adult and scrub toilets.

Jones has the size to play pf, may need more strength. My only knock other than rookie mistakes, he has the slowest shot I have ever seen

D-mo- learn to shoot the 3 but GAIN SOME MUSCLE he gets punked and is lost on d constantly

T-rob- get traded please. Don't want

Man, I do not see what some of yall see in Terrence Jones. At all.

Anytime he's on the court I cringe. Dude is never in control. Likes to shoot, but not much of a shot-maker. Slow, awkward release. Not consistent with his shot. Screws up plays on offense. Misses rotations. Is late calling out rotations. Late setting himself up for coverages.

So.. ya, not a fan. IMO the most overrated Rocket currently on this roster.

Mistaken about what? I listed facts.

I like Jones' effort and energy, but he's about as close to Josh Smith as Josh Smith is to LeBron. If that.

how bout Bargnani for Lin/Montie?

Bargs is really not that bad. he's just lost in Casey's system. i think he'll thrive there with all the 3 pt shooting and all.

The quick answer is "no."

The long answer involves a lot of cursing and I'd have to report myself.

That doesn't make any sense. Why the hell do the Raptors want another point guard?

You want power forwards, and power forwards that are bruisers with upside.

Consider Royce White and TRob. Pretty please :) We'll take cash and draft picks.

^ believe me. up here. getting rid of Bargnani makes a whole lot of sense. lol

and Lowry is shoot first PG ditto with the chucker Lucas. I'd like a little Linsanity goin on with Fields (for a possible return of investment). Montie can team up with Jonas as a project. not a lot of expectations from us next year as we might tank for Wiggins....;)

#bewell and Trob wont work in the checker. and we don't want #bewell's bus and twitting mug here.

^^ got it boss! ;) /sneaks out the back door.
