Does this count as a bandwagoner
Hello,I'm new to these forums and only recently started watching basketball but now I feel like a bandwagoner for supporting the Clippers.
Anyway I was never a basketball type of guy, football (or soccer) was always my cup of tea. That all changed when my 8 year old cousin gave me his Nba 2k12 last summer, ever since then I really enjoyed playing the game and started enjoying the real basketball as well.Seeing as how I'm from Europe I wanted to watch archived games and bought a League-Pass.
Immediately I began watching the Lakers and Clippers because the Lakers were the only team I knew of but it wasn't Kobe that I was impressed by,it was CP3.
Now I'm a die hard Clippers fan and will support it for a long time.
I feel that the Clippers time of being a laughing stock is over for good and we won't just be another one year wonder such was the case in 2006 (Conference Semi-finals).
All I'm really scared of now is being called a bandwagoner for the rest of my life.
Guys help me out,do you think I'm a bandwagoner or not?
Irrelevant
How optimistic are you guys about these playoffs.I feel we can make the Conference Finals (seeing as how WB is injured),and we have a 20-30% chance of actually betting SAS

The more Clip fans the better . Game 4 is huge we should win the series but we don't want to drag the series out.

Re: Does this count as a bandwagoner
You're not a bandwagoner in my book. Don't worry about being called one either. Some people have the nerve to call some Clipper fans bandwagoners even though we've been fans for forever. The stigma was that there were no real Clipper fans, but only a knucklehead would truly believe that. People who act like that aren't even worth discussing the game with to be honest.
You're new to the game. You've chosen a team and plan to stick with them. There's nothing wrong with that at all.

Re: Does this count as a bandwagoner
Welcome to the forum Verballer and I'm happy you selected the Clippers as your team. I'll take all the team support we can get.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Re: Does this count as a bandwagoner
I'm not a Clippers fan (Pacers fan) but as a fellow European I can relate. You are not a bandwagoner. You are just relatively new in following the NBA. As long as you stick with the team you chose no one is going to call you a bandwagoner.
So, rest assured
