In Drew's defense, he actually utilized the BIG lineup all season long. His reluctance to use it this series is more of a reflection of his mistrust in Petro.

The main thing about playing big is that Smith plays the three... and Horford the four position. Al's level ofplay in these two home games has been key to defeat the Pacers. His superiority over West has been one of the keys of these encounters.

Then, with Petro in the middle, the story for the Pacer's guards and George has been really different. They are not able to penetrate easily, and also Horford and Smith are always prepared to intimidate from the weak side, or even from behind, which Smithhas done several times, although some of them he has been called for a foul, mainly unfairly.

The only negative thing I see with this line-up is that it has not been worked much over the season, because with more options and finding weaknesses in the rival's defense this players together would be great to watch. Mainly because Horford, and Smith especially, are great passers. And Petro does not look to do strange things and usually gets the ball near the rim.

Roger that. I can't wait for us to upgrade at Center this summer. That big lineup is gonna uber effective then. I'm also hoping to chg SFs n favor of a more efficient, consistent, disciplined player.
