Open for suggestions

yeah, how about we stop changing coaches every year and get some much needed continuity for this team.

That's by we need to get rid of Pringles. I think we can all agree why D'Antoni was hired, because of a dying mans wish to bring in something that resemble show time. And since Jim buss came out and publicly said Nash was the reason for the D'Antoni hire. I think Jim should just admit to making a huge mistake and right his wrong by bringing in Phil to mentor shaw. Hell even bring back hamblen, cleamons and Rambis.

Isn't that his own job?

Why not Lester's job? Then bring in a Shaw or Rambis and let him consult him.

Phil and Mitch have both eluded through the media that Phil would like to establish a winning culture in a developing team...
I'd be all for Phil being a part of the Lakers org but not at the expense of Mitch and we don't need a new culture established.

Since Jim Buss is a **** idiot and holds resentment towards magic and Phil, Phil coming back to mentor a shaw probably won't happen and it's just a damn shame

Replace the C with an H. Give me Lionel Hollins all day everyday if we're replacing MDA with a guy not named Phil.

The perfect coach for this team is Mike Fratello. I was hoping we'd think of him but the D'Antoni signing pretty much signaled that we were looking for something entirely different.

Only if Larry Brown and Mike Fratello are the assistant coaches.

I think Collins and George Karl would both be great choices.

Except Fratello got fed up with Pau in Memphis. Do people really not know or remember his exit from there? He asked out a year in advance, got hurt for Spain and healed on company time, and when he wasnt moved developed a back problem that the doctors couldn't find. He sat out games, the coach and Wallace called him out, and then Memphis got so fed up they called and asked for Kwame for him, and his back miraculously healed after multiple flights from Memphis to LA to DC and to NJ where he suited up and never looked back. Pau quit on Fratello and that franchise something worse than he's done the playoffs here the ost 3 years yet people act like it didnt happen :lol:

Phil Jackson was fed up with Kobe too. Their reunion never went bad.

Magic doesn't have a clue what is going on within the organization as he hasn't been a part of it in years. He's basically just putting up what Stephen A is saying. As for coach pringles it's well documented that it was a Jerry Buss hire, but somehow someway his son gets the blame for it.

also one more thing, Magic would be the last person i'd listen to. The guy is the worst analyst out of the four members on that espn halftime show, and that's saying something considering they are all horrible.

he practically takes a shot at jimmy every chance he gets when talking about lakers. during halftime they ask him what would it take for the lakers to be the "lakers", he said if jeanie took over. then when jerry passed away he kept mentoring how he (jerry) would hang out with him, take him to lunch, invite him to baseball games, over to the house for some pool. Arent these the type of things you do with your son.

@Michael Lucky

Didn't you read my earlier post, i said Jerry gave the ok and was all for it. but since hes gone now (RIP) isn't Jim the next logical person to pin it on. besides he straight out said Nash was the sole reason for the D'Antoni hire. and i think we can all agree that running the offense through Nash was a huge flop therefore he should right his wrong and get rid of D'Antoni.

but with him buying a 6-7 million dollar house in LA, it doesnt look like hes going anywhere, which is unfortunate.
