I will try not post anything negative.

I am glad that the front office recognizes a change is in order. The next coach they hire needs to be a disciplinarian that will put each and every player, veteran or not in their place.

Whoever the coach is he has a very solid foundation to start with. I am excited to see who they implement as HC. I will be looking improvement and someone that will get this team in position to excel and no longer underachieve.

Good luck against the Heat, Bulls, you're going to need it.
OKC Thunder fan, too.

Anyway, i hope we can pull something out of the HEAT and take them to a 6/7 game. Hard but not impossible.

that was a terrible series and a bottom 3 moment lifetime for me as a nets fan. on par with losing 70 games a couple year ago(at least that season we were openly tanking and new the deal).

blowing a 14 point lead with 3 minutes to play and then not even trying to win in game 7 at home vs. an inferior team missing 2 or 3 starters?

this one the hardest season to watch since 94-95 disaster

You guys recovered from a 1-3 series... so it was imo a great effort from both teams.

Congrats to your team too.

it was a horrible effort. your team place with heart, our guys would rather be on vacation early

LOL, we have ZERO right to complain about injuries in that series.

Wasn't complaining but its the truth.Maybe Joe shldve just sit like half the bulls team instead of toughing it out.

That game last night was pathetic and embarrassing. Ashamed to call myself a fan of a team that gives you that lackluster of an effort. Make a move for Love, LMA, or Howard.... Move anyone except for Williams.

Unless you see an angle to get LMA WITH Brook..I dont see the point of getting him. He is no better than Brook. Rather have the bigger, younger guy.

So I go the opposite of you. Move Dwill try to get a younger star player to extend the window of the core so that we can be more competitive as the Heat begin their decline. And if we want to do that...have to do it now. 32 year old Deron isnt fetching anyone with elite upside...but 29 year old Deron might.

the guys younger who are in dwill stratosphere arent available (kyrie) and the other young guys(wall) would barely get us to the playoffs and make us a .500 or so team, and we would be the easiest team in the league to gaurd in the half court. we would need to not only swap dwill for wall, but also move wallace, lopez, or joe johnson for an all-star sniper from 3 to make it workable. thats alot of moving parts and doesnt seem realistic.

i love wall, but there isnt a worse fit n the league for him then this team

I couldnt agree with you less about Wall. Half this board has acted like Nene for Hump added to this roster gets us anywhere. Wall+Nene MATCH Deron contract wise. If that trade were available and then you still had Hump to trade for a decent wing player to move Crash to the bench...OF COURSE Wall fits with those moves.

Our biggest issue is D...that first trade massively improves D...before figuring out what we can get for Hump..be it another shooter, another defender...someone who can run...whatever. To say Wall cant fit with JJ and Lopez? That's nonsense. That's a great fit.

The other problem in these conversations is that I think you actually believe we are going to rebuild in 3-4 years. We wont. We will retool around a 32 year old Deron after getting no where for the next 3 anyway. Rather have Wall 22 now 25 then to go with Lopez 25 now 28 then once JJ and Crash are tradeable expiring contracts. That is re-tooling. We will absolutely NOT be draft building. We are in NY now...not NJ. So forget notions of lets go through this era o mediocrity so that we can have dreams of a 4 year draft build program. Not going to happen.

Wall+Nene+ value for Hump beats Deron+a Nene. Beats it today...and destroys it 3 years from now. Its really that simple.

Deron is a very good player. But he will be 29 at the start of next season and he will never lead this team anywhere in the LBJ era unless he gets another bonnafide superstar to play with... and even then its a long shot. I see no deal we can make that keeps Deron that moves us up more than 5 more wins and depending on who we face early in the playoffs a chance at winning a round or two. So to me you trade the biggest tradeable salary that brings back the most you can get. The older star is the smarter player to trade given the likelihood of the moves we are going to make over the next 6-8 years.

If I can get younger in my core for later as well as fill more needs now? That's a win win type of move.

Dont act like that towards an opposing fan who came here with good intentions. He came in peace and said congrats. You made your point the first time about how poorly we played. Going back at him another time to try to have the last word there was low class. The second time you say thanks...and good luck in the next round. You dont wan to say that...then let him have the last word and say nothing.

No, you really wont. You still represent this board. And when you treat an outsider who took the high road like that...you come off as low class garbage. You dont like it? Leave. Keep it up...and you wont have a choice. I am quite sure you will be removed for crap like this.

Look, I have personally given you a wider berth of late and not stomped on you for some of your more antagonistic comments lately. I have tried to find some sense of merit in some of your points and even backed a few of them up...despite many people here surprised to see me do so.

If you want to go at an an opposing fan who posts here and acts like a douche...go right ahead. But this childish type of thing you do after each loss is getting old. You acted like an ass to that guy without any reason.

So either get the point or perhaps you should seriously begin looking for a board that better suits your style. There is no place for this here.

Glad you want to get all E-thug on me but what you see really means less then nothing to me. Again, i'll post what I want, and as long as its withing the rules of the forum im good. i posted my opinion, im fine with it. i didnt curse, name call, or make any borad infraction that im farmiliar with.

you can "stomp" on me all you want. So if it makes you feel better go ahead, it doesnt bother me much. or if it really bothers you, there is always the ignore feature, which is pretty fool proof.

So either get the point or perhaps you should seriously begin looking for a board that better suits you style. There is no place for this here.

no i'll stay here but thanks for the suggestion. id maybe suggest you check yourself a bit instead of being some kind of super internet thug E-enforcer or something. you make it sound like i was here name calling or cussing people out. which ive never done. you on the other hand...
