We don't have to face Cappy or Sheets in this important series.

A week ago Bush was close to losing his spot in the rotation. He responded by giving up 1 run and striking out 6 in 7 innings against the Braves. Whether he can have 2 good starts in a row is the question. Bush's motivation is Yovani Gallardo, he's 8-1 with an ERA of 2.14 and 95 K's in 67 innings in Triple A. He's ready. And Bush knows if he's shaky he's out of the rotation and Gallardo will be called up.

I am just glad we are missing Capuano and Sheets in this series.

Sheets has been great. Cappy has lost his last 5 starts but the Brewers have scored a total of 6 runs in those starts.

This should be an entertaining series as always.

Even when the Brewers were bad the past few years these game have always been fun and close.
The home team usually always seems to have better success in this series.

Always a fun series I will be at all 3 games...BTW I havent watched to many cubs games this year (to busy watching the brewers dominate) But how does Jason Marquis have that good of an ERA Every time I remember watching him play he woul give up 8+ runs what is he doing differntly this year. or is it just a fluke?

Jason Marquis has really surprised us but he shouldn't be surprising anybody. In 2004 he had a strong 15-7 season with a 3.71 ERA.

Yeah I remember that I guess it was just those last 2 years where at least against the brewers it was always a slugfest!

I hope Trammell mixes things up at the top of the order, this could be a good 3-game showcase for Pie/Theriot batting leadoff and Soriano deeper as he should be.

Maybe Lou will get the drift when he returns from his hiatus..

Lou is at Miller Park and he made the lineup but he can't be on the bench. He is sitting in a skybox with Hendry.
