Heat Vs Bulls, enjoying the war so-far; it's really tough in the trenches.

Throw it down to Zbo or Gasol in that instance and let them go to work or find the open shooter. With that said, I expect Memphis to clean up these silly mistakes and get back to the basics. It is not a good omen for OKC that they struggled at home and Durant had to get 35, 15, and 6 to get this win. I doubt he can keep doing that for a whole series. I also doubt Kevin Martin can keep getting 25 PPG a night. Ibaka should bounce back a bit though.

Indiana man handled the Knicks. The Knicks are not too hard to defend because of their ISO heavy offense and their shooters not having quick releases off the catch. Plus they have no low post scoring. Indiana plays better defense than Boston because they rebound better than the Celtics. Hopefully the Pacers can keep it going.

Agreed. A 2 pt win at home for the opener is not a good sign for OKC. Bum luck for OKC that Westbrook went down. You play an entire year to get to this spot and thats one injury take you out. That has to suck.

MEM is looking pretty strong.

The 3 and 4 seed are already out. Now its looking like the 1st seed may lose in the 2nd round.

Poor GSW. Got a bad draw getting SA.

The Bulls rebounding edge really making a huge difference in this game. If the Heat can't get on top of that, this could turn out to be a long series.

In addition to Rose they were missing starters at the 2 & 3 and Hinrich yet they still beat the Heat on the road. Tough as nails.

Wow

Edit: How can a team that plays Jimmy Butler 48 minutes (46 for Belinelli) beat the Heat on the road? :o
Thank God we didn't draft the Fat Matador.

17 second chance points is really the story here. The Heat's poor rebounding could catch up with them this series.

Watching this game got me thinking what a player Mcgee could be if he was couched by thibs.

Epic meltdown by the Warriors after Klay Thompson fouled out.

Boy, I always thought this current Warriors team would be nothing but a 1st round treadmill team for the next few years. I think, if Curry (a legit star-level player right now imo), Bogut and Lee can stay healthy, this team is as good as any in the West.

The combo of Curry, Klay and Jack in the back court is just fantastic. I am very jelly. I hope Wall, Beal and ??? can be as good.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

True. The team and Jack is kind of in that position that OKC and Harden were in last year.

It would be best for GS if they could find a way to keep him but they have to find a way to get out of that Richard Jefferson 11M player option. I don't know enough to know if they have a buy out put if they do, they should clearly do it. Or maybe they can use that stretch rule and spread his cost over several years.

I have also been very impressed by Bogut.

As for Klay Thompson, I know the kid would be able to score but he has actually impressed me with his overall game and his defense. Yeah, he fouled out but he really puts a lot of effort in defensively. He has a good motor.

That GS team is fun to watch just like MEM. I hope both can keep things together.

So I guess we have to add Klay to the list of players we could have had that year that clearly had known skills that would produce quickly. Klay Thompson, Nikola Vucevic, Kenneth Faried. Add to that players that seemed to have some questions but looked to be solid prospects...Kawhi Leonard, Tobias Harris.

For me, I would have still went with Nikola Vucevic given the teams need at the time.

As for S Curry  He is who we thought he would be. He was the perfect target for us that year.

Curry is playing like Gilbert Arenas but with better passing. He is a ridiculous shooter and totally fearless. He puts so much pressure on the defense.

not only that but in spite of his apparent brilliance in many aspects of coaching,
Thibs still hasn't grasped how gawdawful Boozer is. He's lucky he's got Taj.
NateR is a giant among men. And Jimmy doing his Elvin Hayes impersonation.

If only Ves could do a reasonable Noah imitation...

if you can steal a game at home when you're the favorite, the Spurs just did.

Danny Green, superstar.

Plus how did Steph go from couldn't miss from anywhere, to couldn't
throw it in the ocean? Was it all Kawhi?

GSW are a very interesting team.

Manu - epic bonehead followed by epic redemption

Jimmy Butler for Bulls seemed to do OK with that

Another unsung player for GS is Draymond Green. He's a rookie who already plays like a veteran. The Warriors also suffered when Green fouled out.

Just read this on Reddit:
392-0. The record, before last night, of #NBA playoff teams with a 16+ point lead at the 4 minute mark

Unbelievable comeback from SA. Wish I had stayed up to watch that.

Man. Hasheem Thabeet is an incredibly bad basketball player. I just watched him make defensive mistakes on 4 consecutive possessions, each resulting in points by Memphis. First he commits a cheap defensive foul. Then he does it again and refs call it again. Then, in an effort to show that he's not shoving, he lifts his arms straight up and body-bumps the offensive player as the offensive player begins to move to his spot on the low block, he is so focused on making a show to the refs that he doesn't pay attention to what's going on the floor and Conley drives right to the hoop for a layup. Then he goaltends someone else while late on a rotation.
