At least we're getting off rebounds.

1-2 for MC11

Fran posted this on twitter. Incredible transformation.

I guess it wasn't rigged, but it was one of my more frustrating games to watch. We could not create a lead.

If the Grizzlies are going to play games like this, I might need to bring a bottle of whiskey to calm my nerves.

I stand corrected on my "grizz players aren't trying hard enough or care enough" stance last night:
After the game, Randolph and Prince were performing the postgame ice ritual in the corner of the Grizzlies' locker room. The vibe was positive, but hardly celebratory. As Randolph prepared to head to the showers, he muttered, "2-0," to Prince, then repeated it.

"2-0."

Randolph and Prince shook their heads, both tormented by the knowledge that had the Grizzlies held on to their double-digit lead in Game 1, they could be flying back to Memphis early Wednesday morning with a chance to sweep the Thunder out of the postseason with two home wins.

"2-0."

Hungry bears can never be sated, not even with a split on the road.

I just finished watching the game. Nice win. I agree with you SD2042, We need some whisky for this kind of stuff. I wonder why the grizzs cant manage to build a safe advantage and keep it. I understand Durant will score +35, good job on the others beside fisher, and I dont expect him to do it again in the series again.

Beside the 5 starters I trust no one. Pondexter and bayless were so scared, I hope this change at the Fedex forum. And i am not sure what is the problem of Darrel Arthur, Maybe they dont even make plays for him, his offense is basically open jumpers out of the paint. In defense he just grabs some boards but that is the less he can do. He is a big guy after all. He shows no heart at all...

Btw, I liked how Thabust played on the boards, he moved faster than I remembered. Anyway, just two fouls for him is an achievement.

I love seeing our guys shooting over Thabeet. They know his limitations. I miss seeing Haddadi go against him though. Always fun to see the undrafted guy embarass the #2 draft pick.

I found this article from the Thunder fans. Great summary of the game:

Pondexter has been outplaying Prince to this point.

Prince pump-fakes on open looks on offense and is giving Durant way too much space. Q at least crowds KD, goes for steals, and takes open shots when they're there (without a foot on the line, to boot).
You can borrow ten cents; my two cents is free
