Mike Conley took over the 4th quarter and had 26, 10 and 9. Big shot after big shot there.

Gasol had 24 points, most of them coming early. Randolph had 15. Collison defended him well in the 3rd there. But Ibaka isn't doing anything either. Randolph is shielding him away and let Conley get some lay ups in the half court.

Grizzlies got a huge win. They should be up 2-0 since this series is being played at THEIR pace and they choked away opportunities in Game 1.

I hope they can win their home games

I can't cheer for Durant anymore, he whines and bitches just like Wade. Only difference is that Durant is worth a damn from the perimeter.

I do hate the whining, but I'm extremely impressed with how he has taken over the point guard position for the team. In the last 5 games, he has averaged 35 points, 10 boards and 7 assists while posting an ORtg of 121 with an insane 33% usage rate.

I hope you mean insanely low 33% usage rate. OKC offense was bad last night and no one has stepped up in WB absence. IMO KD needs to jack shots up like Carmelo Anthony for OKC to get past Memphis.

OKC's offense wasn't bad last night. Their offensive rating was 104 -- Memphis drtg in the regular season was 100.3. The Grizzlies are an outstanding defensive team. OKC lost because of their defense.

Durant played a great game. If Kevin Martin makes 3 more shots (which would give him an average shooting night for him), OKC might have taken that game. And then the Durant narrative changes to "Durant = hero."

His usage rate over the past 5 games would rank him second in the league, behind only Carmelo Anthony. But Anthony posted an ORtg of 112. Durant is doing it with an incredible ORtg of 121, with 2 of those games against the 2nd best defense in the league.

By the way, Melo's usage rate has been a mind-boggling 39% in the playoffs. (For comparison, the second highest regular season usage rate was 32.8% by Westbrook.) Unfortunately, Melo's ORtg in the playoffs is just 100. He is chucking.

Don't get me wrong. What KD is doing is incredible but Kevin Martin has been disappointing and I doubt Fish will shoot that well again in game 3. But Like Kev said, their defense was also an issue.

Also side note about Melo. I saw that as well. He's been shooting like ~25 shots per game. Full on chuck mode.

After the game, Randolph and Prince were performing the postgame ice ritual in the corner of the Grizzlies' locker room. The vibe was positive, but hardly celebratory. As Randolph prepared to head to the showers, he muttered, "2-0," to Prince, then repeated it.

"2-0."

Randolph and Prince shook their heads, both tormented by the knowledge that had the Grizzlies held on to their double-digit lead in Game 1, they could be flying back to Memphis early Wednesday morning with a chance to sweep the Thunder out of the postseason with two home wins.

"2-0."

Hungry bears can never be sated, not even with a split on the road.

That is putting it mildly. He is taking 12 more shots than Felton while shooting 10% worse.
Thank God we didn't draft the Fat Matador.

Unbelievable comeback from SA. Wish I had stayed up to watch that.

Yeah I went to bed too. Was shocked, and disappointed, to hear GSW blew it. Love Steph Curry though. It makes me sick to this day that we passed him up in the draft to trade for **** Mike Miller and Randy Foye. That alone should be a fireable offense for EG, but I digress...

Unfortunately for GSW they have no shot now in this series. Game 1 was their best chance to steal home court and steal the series, but now no shot. Spurs in 5, 6 tops. But the Warriors will be the team of the future in the West along with OKC.

Bulls won't beat the Heat but they will beat the life out of them. If the Knicks or Pacers had that kind of toughness they could beat the Heat...

It's not as fun cheering for the Heat to lose now that LeBron has his ring.

I'm indifferent to LBJ winning now, but I want Wade to fail miserably in every facet of life.

He has to be roiding, he's always mad. Even when he dunks on somebody he's rubbin his balls and mean muggin. I hope his jawline just explodes one day exposing him for the fraud that he is.

Miami still has the king of floppers too, Battier is impossible to root for, and he's a Duke alumni so you just know he's a spawn of Satan. Mario Chalmers also acts way more cocky than he ought to. I can't think of 5 teams he would start for outside of Miami...

Surprisingly, LeBron is the only likable character on Miami come to think of it...

There's a long list of guys to dislike in the league but for me it's headed by Garnett.
